I woke up with bradycardia on November 2, 2020 and had a pace maker put in same day. I developed afib 2 wks later, apparently from one of the wires being screwed in too far and puncturing my pericardium. On December 11, 2020 I had a cryro ablation. Then January 5, 2021 I had to go to the hospital as I could not breath. I had Pericardial effusion from blood slowly filling my pericardium. After treatment to remove the fluid, I felt better. Still had what my ep called a 'bucket full' of afib. I entered the hospital February 19, 2021 3 days for loading with tikosyn. I was also put on 100mg of metoprolol. Within 2 days, my afib was non existent! Bad part was I went from pacing 1% to 100%. My ep immediately stopped the Metoprolol. My right ventricle is now pacing about 60%. My afib and flutter is still non existent. My heart rate still runs about 80 bpm at rest. My question is why do I still feel about 80% and not improving? Is it because of the tikosyn and Eliquis combo? Has anyone else had similar issues? I'm at a loss even after extensive research! Any thoughts?
