First blood test after starting Thiroyd
Hello Even though I have been re-experiencing some symptoms of tiredness, tinnitus and a hoarse croaky voice recently, I was still surprised to get my latest results from Blue Horizon. I have been taking 11/2 grains of Thiroyd since last October and was feeling OK until January this year after I took

any advice about going GF with hashis?
Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any tips for adopting a hashimoto's gluten free diet. I am on 100mcg of levo and have been for six months with no great improvement in health. My vitamin levels are fine and ferratin improving, but I still feel.... like a slug, I suppose. I thought I'd feel better

small success after 8 years of constipation
My son has never been great with toilet issues. He was a very reluctant with potty training and suffered toddler diarrhoea. Around age of 5 he improved greatly and then poop accidents started again. The GP thought he needed imodium to help him have firmer stools, but as you can imagine, it did not help

Anti-inflammatory diets
Whilst the information booklets (NHS, UK) for PMR/GCA given to me when I was diagnosed with both conditions in July 2015, briefly touch on diet with a short list of foods based on calcium intake, I recently checked out anti-inflammatory diets to see if this would help. I bought the books "The Anti-Inflammatory

Hashis and Gluten Free
Hi all Would love to hear stories about people going gluten free and whether it helped your hypothyroidism/ hashis. Does it need to be a strict 100% gluten free diet or can you have a couple of 'cheat days' a month! Thanks in advance.

Ataxia - short lived but dramatic instant improvement with gluten-free diet.
I am a 77 year-old retired pathologist and new here. My illness began 6 years ago, with difficulty in walking, upset balance and problems getting in and out of cars. I was fairly sure I had ataxia of some sort and was eventually seen by the neurological team in Nottingham. They disagreed with the idea
