Reactive hypoglycemia
I’m two and a half years post McKeon’s oesophagectomy and have continuous early and late dumping which is manageable having been prescribed Creon - which has made a huge difference. I still get severe hypos that come on at random times, particularly after eating bread and protein (cheese on toast, beans

A question on what do we need to eat to reduce blood glucose and come out of medication? Is this possible?
There are more and more people writing articles, bringing books out on diet and fruits and drinks. people write books to make money go on TV to make money as well. If you see the clothing they wear at u-tube delivery, you can ask, can all ladies be a perfect 10? We are what we gained from our parents

How can I best use my CGM
I have acquired a continuous glucose monitor, a CGM. It will tell me my blood glucose every minute or so for 14 days, if I don't knock it off my arm 2 days after I start using it. I am very clumsy, so I may do that. Anyway, I thought I might crowd source the best way to use this device to learn how

The link is given at the bottom of the post. While it was in my mind to make an exclusive post on fruits, but this article

Blood Sugar Issues While in Treatment
Hello Everyone. Nice to be able to work with you today. Has anyone experienced high blood sugar as a result of treatment. As you will see from my profile, I was originally diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in 2002. This ended up as MBC in August of 2019. So, I have been on some sort of treatment

I’m new here. PMR since September 2020.
Came across this site by chance & so glad I did. Was diagnosed with PMR last September after 2 months of debilitating pain. Started on 20mg of prednisolone & couldn’t believe how quickly they worked, I was pain free within a matter of hours. However, having been diagnosed with diabetes T2 in April last

Hypoglycemia?
So once in a while I will get a panic attack after I’m done eating and get sleepy. So as soon as I finish eating I get sleepy and try to take a nap but when I’m falling asleep my anxiety spikes and triggers a panic attack and the sleepiness goes away. I know that these are also symptoms of Low Blood
