Hi everyone I'm new to this forum but not new to C25K, over the past 10 years I've probably completed it 12 - 15 times, each time congratulating myself with two weeks off and some wine and cake!!😀 Earlier this year I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and decided to embark on the C25K again, I completed

Update on MichaelJH
Good morning! I rang Michael last night as I saw elsewhere that he was quite unwell. At the start of the week he woke early feeling rather strange and thought it best to check his blood glucose level. It was fine but he was having trouble focussing on the phone screen (Libre 2 sensor). The room started

Change to diet
Plodding along for years with T2, first metformin but now insulin twice per day. Reasonably good diet, try to avoid added or high sugar, although carbs can be my downfall, mostly active, low alcohol consumption. Blood glucose readings fairly consistent, though slightly above target and keep nudging

Tapered to zero Pred (DSNS)
I am now wondering how long it takes for my blood glucose to return to a normal range? I've been eating a strict keto diet for the last 20 months, I've been increasingly active as I've tapered down (play tennis 2-3 times a week, use the gym and walk the dog daily for 1hr +) My average glucose, taken

FDG elements of PSMA scan
I had a FDG scan a few days ago . At the heart of my confusion is the function of FDG in giving a positive outcome to Pluvicto infusions. Is it a good thing to have lots of 'FDG Avid' showing up, or do you want those aspects of the scan to be as hidden as possible (so that the PSMA -Avid cells can be

PSMA Analysis needed
I'm awaiting the visual images from my PSMA FDG scan. In the meantime, I've got a written report and I could do with your help. The backdrop is that I'm hoping to be considered eligible for PSMA therapy in Melbourne in May-Aug. At the heart of it lies a really simple question (and apologies for my naivety

Anyone experienced HbA1c increasing after starting T3, and increasing more when Levo reduced, does it settle , is it temporary
hoping to find out, if it will eventually right itself when thyroid issues are treated optimally. I think/hope it might but would be good if others have any experience references that could back up my intuition. I was px venlafaxine early 2019, had never had any blood glucose issues before that. Lipids

I was diagnosed May/June 23. I had just had my diabetes check and all was OK. Fast forward to December check and definitely not ok! I had been eating low carb and had lost weight. Life became very difficult from October with a nasty fall, mental heath crisis for our grandson while we were looking

Has anyone experienced low blood glucose on Enhertu/trastuzamab?
I have a rare condition that affects my blood glucose. Its called Reactive hypoglycemia. Enhertu contains trastuzamab and I've found an article linking it with a rare adverse event of hypoglycemia. I have experienced hypos after my cycles of Enhertu. The last time the hypo was so bad I had a seizure

I have a profile in advanced prostate cancer. When I set it up I didn't realize there was more than one prostate cancer network/forum. People in the advanced prostate form suggested I join this one. It's been awhile, but here I am. I'm a 63 year old who had an RP in March 2021. So far my psa tests have

Real-time measurement of glucose as a proxy for levodopa concentration?
Goud et al. write [1]: "because dose optimization is currently based on patients’ report of symptoms, which are difficult for patients to describe, the management of PD is challenging. We report on a microneedle sensing platform for continuous minimally invasive orthogonal electrochemical monitoring
