2nd GTT
Hiya, i am 33 weeks tomorrow with my first baby, i had a glucose test at 26 weeks that came back normal. But because i now have excess fluid around my little man they want to repeat the test. The last time i had the test i nearly threw it back up again as my sense of taste and smell is out of this world

My adrenals are disappointing me.
Diagnosed with PMR 2015 November. Only as couple of mini flare type symptoms. Otherwise I tapered very slowly over these years. A couple of times I’ve upped the prednisone for a few days due to an unusual stress. A blood glucose test last year showed very low sugar 44. Though hypoglycemic my whole life

How Calories from Sugar/simple carbs, are different than calories from other food.
Most adult males require about 2,500 calories to maintain body weight. Most doctors will tell you that maintaining body weight is about calories in and calories out, regardless of caloric source. 3 teaspoons of sugar and one apple are calorically equal – about 50 calories. Theoretically, if you ate

Can Abiraterone/Zytiga cause low blood sugar?
I’m diabetic and use an insulin pump. I’m on Abiraterone for about 5 months now, with hydrocortisone 10 mg per day to control Abiraterone side effects during PC treatment. Also took about 9 months Firmagon shots, but just switched to Lupron to preserve belly area for pump insulin insertion ports or continuous

Diabetes Type 2, PD and Berberine
Diabetes is a common disease that affects many Americans and 90 to 95% of diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). I will be discussing T2DM and one option to help deal with it effectively based on multiple studies. Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is significantly less common so I will focus this discussion

Odd blood test results
Hi all, not posted for a while but been reading with interest. I've just started to emerge from an eight month period of very bad health - barely able to look after myself. In December I had a phone consult with my GP and asked them to check my blood glucose because I was concerned about thirst and

My Blood Sugar Readings today !
My fasting blood sugar was hovering around 78- 90 for the last two months. I had posted my last HBA1C as 5.8 a month back- if you recall my post in this forum. A couple of days back when I consulted my Endo , he advised that 78-85 is low for me if I desire to gain some healthy weight ....also to avoid

Can Erleada/Apalutamide and Xtandi/Enzalutimide be used subsequently or is Xtandi ineffective after Erleada stops working?
If someone is castration sensitive and they start/use Erleada until it stops controlling the PSA, is Xtandi usually effective to use following the Erleada, or will Xtandi be ineffective because it works in the same manner as the Erleada? I understand that Erleada is for non-metastatic and Xtandi is
