What to expect at implication counselling for DE

Hey all, I’ve posted recently about having DE and trying to find an implication counsellor in the Uk aa having my treatment in Spain....

my question.....

Have any of you had implication counselling DE? What should we expect when we attend?

We had it at our uk clinic. It’s a pretty open chance to discuss your thoughts, feelings and for them to try and answer any questions. Ours was very informal and relaxed xx

How long was your session?

Did you have just one session?

Did you feel you needed more than one?

Were they able to give you some advice on how to tell your child?

Ours lasted about 1 hour and I was fine with just the one. I did a lot of my own research on DE and how to prepare etc. You can basically talk about whatever you choose x
