Counselling
Hi! 👋🏼 I just had my first counselling session via zoom this afternoon. I wasn’t that impressed tbh. Felt like there were a lot of awkward silences and that the counsellor was constantly looking at the time at the bottom of her screen. We didn’t make it through the full hour, lasted about 40mins

Genetic testing
Had anyone had to get genetic testing to see if their fatty liver is a genetic factor instead of diet? The doctor is also sending me for another ultrasound instead of fibroscan because I have a loop recorder. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Genetic test results (or not?)
I've been waiting 6 weeks for the results of genetic tests of my prostate tumour biopsy sample and blood to see if I qualify for the Amplitude clinical trial. They finally came through today but were disappointing in that they have told me very little! (Apart from I'm not eligible for the trial). The

Hello ladies ❤️ Any support / knowledge / experience with the above? I wrote down my experience in my bio. Two chemicals and one negative. I am trying to find myself again after the last early loss. Trying meditation and counselling. Thank you

Deep concerns for my wife
Hello, Long time reader and first time post. My wife has had a long term unhealthy relationship with alcohol and even now, after 15 years refuses to acknowledge this. Periodically, I have discovered the odd bottle of water, filled with vodka, hidden away. I have challenged her, but it has been dismissed

GENETIC TEST
Good morning, did any of you do a genetic test? In my case, my son has developed the disease and only I am a carrier, his father is not. I have been reading that to realize a child with the disease at least both parents have to be carriers. It is possible that very little is still known...

After 4th round of LU-177, Started on Cabazitaxel. Advice please
Did my 4th round of LU-177. PSA dropped marginally for two months. Scan started to show very little improvement and some of the previous lesions have become active again. Oncologist suggested Cabazitaxel. Just started yesterday. Any advice on the side effects and what to do during the Cabazitaxel treatment

Counseling Support
I was wondering what experience anyone has had with counseling? I’m coming up on a year NED, which I’m thankful for but have been experiencing increased anxiety symptoms. My cancer center offers up to 20 sessions free I start next week, I’ve never been before curious.

Anyone prescribe Metformin for prostate cancer not for diabetes?
Hi, thank you for letting my husband and I join in… As I am trying to find information on how to deal with my husband’s sever plaque psoriasis, awful psoriasis flares after docetaxel chemotherapy infusion treatments and high glucose levels/numbers that seem to coincide with these extreme psoriasis flares

Anyone else have bad experiences trying to seek therapy and mental health support? Really puts you off even trying...
Feeling annoyed and disheartened after a first appointment telephone call with my area’s NHS wellbeing service that I had this afternoon. I had to build myself up for this call because I felt anxious not knowing what to expect. I thought I was being brave by trying to arrange therapy even though it’

looking for treatment advice
Hello All, I am reading so much about LU-177 and immunotherapy. But I am wondering when we would start looking into these treatments. Husband is on Abiraterone, Prednisone and monthly Lupron shots. He completed 6 docetaxel treatments in April. PSA has slowly gone from almost 7000 to 4 since last diagnosis

Next steps - known donor
So 3rd cycle resulted in BFN, time to move on I think to egg donor as quality just doesn't seem to to there (3x BC blasts and one 3day embryo transfer over 3 cycles) Low AMH and turning 40 in November. What are the next steps if we are moving towards using a known donor (Little sister has mentioned

Hi lovelies, I hope everyone is okay this Friday. We are now looking at going to Alicante for
