Inactive endometriosis
Hi while my surgeon is performing hysterectomy and ovary removal alongside excision of pelvic endometriosis he has said the endo on my diaphragm is inactive/old and no need to remove. Am confused as thought all endo should be removed, can endo become inactive? Am probably perimenopausal/46.

AMA negative
Hello, finally switched doctors to a hepatologist, he did blood work AMA is negative Alk phos is 391 other liver lvls slightly elevated , had a fibroscan done waiting on results. Diagnosed PBC about 1 1/2 yrs ago is it common to have PBC and AMA be negative?

From oxy to cbd
Hello, i have severe fibro and a back injury and am currently taking 4 doses of 20mg oxycodone a day also 3 doses of 600mg gabbapentin a day. I wish to start using cbd oil and kick the oxy but am worried about first trying the cbd whilst taking the oxy ( you have to be weaned off oxycodone). My question

Gallbladder nausea and anxiety
Hi everyone, Just wanted to know if any of you had
gallbladder
removal
surgery? What were your symptoms before having it out? I've been feeling terribly sick for the last 2 weeks sometimes having to make myself sick? I've been told I've got polyps in the gallbladder and might need it removing.

Borderline tumor
Hi everyone, I had a serious borderline tumor 10 years ago at 24. I lost the affected ovary, tube, appendix etc This was discovered at my 12 week scan during my first pregnancy. I had 6 monthly follow ups for 5 years& am now in St James annually. I had a 'complex' cyst on my remaining ovary 2 years ago

Just wondering
Hi all. Was referred to s hepatologist few weeks ago as ANA positive and M2 raised again after only few months. GGT raised also. Hepatologist wrote back to my GP to say that there is no need to see her as my Alk Phos is grand and LFT's. Repeat annually and watch All Phos. I'm happy enough with this but

Borderline tumor-completion surgery & no HRT
Hi everyone It's been 10 years since I had my ovary & borderline tumor removed ( I was 24) At my annual check yesterday the subject of removing the remaining ovary was heavily pushed and to my shock was told HRT would not be an option. I was too shocked to think of asking any questions. I am beside myself

New Biopsy report: The submitted biopsy does not have any diagnostic features of primary biliary cirrhosis
I was diagnosed in 2010 after elevated labs and AMA. Biopsy from 2010 states: Morphologic features consistant with an early stage of primary biliary cirrhosis (stage 1 of possible 4). Presence of periductal granulomas and small duct epithelial damage. Reticulin stain reveals clumping of reticulin fibers

Hi I'm new to this group
I had to have an emergency
gallbladder
removal
last September. At that time the surgeon did not like the looks of my liver and had done a biopsy. I already knew I had fatty liver and the biopsy proved correct.

First post here, advice regarding operation needed!
So I completely C25K a couple of weeks ago and am doing between 5-6K 3x a week still, but my question is Saturday I am going in for my
gallbladder
removal
surgery - anyone had an op during this time? Any advice on how to build back up when ready? I'm terrified of being back where I started! Thanks!

Worried about blood clot on liver from MRI scan
I wonder if any one can help. I was in hospital due to jaundice and suspected blocked gallstone in the main bile duct. When I had an MRI scan it confirmed the blockage and it was mentioned I have a blood clot on the liver. I have since had an ERCP to remove the stone, my blood levels bilirubin and liver

Alk Phosphatase Level’s - URSO for 3 Months
Been on Urso for 3 months and ALT and AST levels reduced by 50%, but alkaline phosphatase was about the same. Doctor says to not worry since the one year mark is the true indicator on whether or not the drug is working. Another doctor said she does not consider the alkaline phosphatase levels as an indicator
