The nice side of Covid
“We will have a vaccine and it will be highly effective“ „It meant that things that might have unspooled over the next decade or even 15 years, were compressed down into a year or a year and a half“ (thx to Covid related research) We all need to contribute to survive the next 7-10 years by diet,

Bladder & Urethra Issue
RP 2007 and EBRT 2009. I've had intermittent hematuria for many years and on 3 occasions blood clots have caused obstruction and inability to urinate. I've learned to self catheterize in these situations which has usually resolved the issue after a few days. This time it's more severe. Heavy bleeding

colds and flu
I’ve been Googling but can’t any answers. Is there a link between catching frequent colds and hashimotos?

Lyme and Long Covid (and perhaps by proxy, B12 deficiency)
The seeming correlations between B12 deficiency and Long Covid have been discussed on this forum. Given that, there might be some interest in this presentation, though B12 is not mentioned. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WwjQlLBjnjA

Covid antiviral medication
hello everyone - well after 3 years of never catching covid I’ve bloody got it this week! I went to the theatre last week and masked up and I don’t know for sure that’s where I got it but who knows 🤷🏼♀️ so frustrating when I was trying to build up my confidence to get back out and about! Anyway, I

Thyroid and Folate deficiency
I've been on Levothyroxine for many years (100mg). After contracting Covid last year and being unable to match previous physical performances, I was diagnosed with a folate deficiency. I was told this was common post Covid, was prescribed folic acid tablets and saw an immediate improvement. I was told

Request sedation for a cortisone injection
So today I got some more bad news. I had my hip replacements checked as my newest one has been causing me a lot of pain. On my CT it showed that I have arthritis in my sacroiliac joint. Yet again, another joint that is either dysplastic or has arthritis. Did I mention I had two hip replacements at 25

Now it’s calf pain and covid
Following on from my last post , Monday I got a message from my own GP - blood tests are normal, reduce Pred, which I did to 2.5, where I’ve been comfortable for 2months, not 2mgs to where I’ve recently tapered. Wednesday, physio appointment (private) for neck and head pains, very reassuring, exercises

Should I be worried that my clinic is moving to egg retrieval too fast?
Hi All Thank you for taking the time to read my post. So I am currently on ICSI stims. I am showing as 5 decent sized follicles with a few pluses. Because I am doing PGT-A testing my lining is unimportant. However, I am a bit concerned that my clinic is moving too fast to do a retrieval because

Dealing with grief friends' pregnancy announcements
Hi,Apologies in advance... I've seen so many of these type of posts on this forum so I know I'm not alone, but just needed to express how I'm feeling today in a place where I know I'll be understood. I'm on a little break having more tests after three negative transfers and one chemical over the last

ADHD and Long Covid
There has been some discussion on this forum about similarities between the symptoms of B12 deficiency and the symptoms of Long Covid. I am a person with ADHD, and have often thought about perceived similarities between ADHD and B12 deficiency. One of my main symptoms is brain fog, so I was interested

Hormone concerns prior to ICSI
HiWe are due to start out first IVF/ICSI next month. I privately have been doing my own investigations as our GP and NHS is terrible in our area and I have been having symptoms of concern. We are referred for ICSI due to poor morphology but also I am 36 and AMH 6.25. So far I have found that on a day
