Should I be worried that my clinic is moving to egg retrieval too fast?

Hi All

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. So I am currently on ICSI stims. I am showing as 5 decent sized follicles with a few pluses.

Because I am doing PGT-A testing my lining is unimportant. However, I am a bit concerned that my clinic is moving too fast to do a retrieval because I have 4 good sized eggs. I had a lot more the last time but it took a lot longer to respond to the stims (think 24 days in total). I am currently 14 days in.

They are saying since my lining is unimportant they may do on Wednesday which is the first day they can do with me. Am I right to be worried? I really do not have much faith in them anymore and feel like they are rushing a bit. But they never seem to listen to any concerns I have

I admit the last time we only got 10 follicles in the end with 6 fertilising. However, only one was of good quality and I was hoping that this time, because of all the changes I have made to my diet; supplements and lifestyle, I would get more.

Hi Systema. You need to make sure the sizes are good before the trigger shot of hCG as there are no eggs in the follicles until then. Good luck. Diane

I have one 20 and the rest are 13 and 15. I am waiting on a call back today, but hoping it will be put off until at least Thursday

Hi. You need to be careful you don’t ovulate. I’m sure they’re aw a of this possibility . Diane
