Coughing and AFib
I've been down for several days with what seems to be the flu (4 days of negative covid testing) and one of the most persistent symptoms has been a bad cough. I went into AFib a couple of days ago but blamed it on the fever. However, no fever today, but just went into AFib again. Anyone else have this

Covid & Flu Vaccinations
Can anyone please tell me if you have had both the flu and Covid vaccinations at the same time please. If you have did you suffer any worse side effects from having them at the same time? I have both booked at my GP's but am not happy to have both together as I think this is a first time it has happened

evening update
I don’t have head lice or covid! My nurse checked my head and I took a covid test this morning. I am congested but I think it’s just allergies. I’m a little nervous though bc my temp has been around 99 all day today. Usually I run a little cooler. Today felt much better than the past few days, so I hope

has anyone had covid recently and what were your symptoms, did it affect your AFIB at all, I am interested to know what other people’s experience have been.

anxious
I woke up feeling somewhat less anxious this morning, which is great. However, my head started really itching so now I have to go to the school nurse to check to see if it’s head lice. My boyfriend also texted me saying he’s stuffy and his throat hurts a little. I really don’t want him to have covid.

another random question
another random question - is it common to feel cold in early pregnancy or is this another miscarriage sign? do live in a cold country but I feel colder than usual and have been walking around looking like an advertisement for a blanket.

Covid booster and thyroid blood test
I am due to get my annual thyroid blood test in October. Have just realised that I get my autumn Covid booster the day before. Is it likely to have any effect on the test results?

stopping aspirin temporarily
hi. I’m suffering from really bad sciatica. The orthopaedic surgeon wants to give me a branch block steroid injection (whatever that is) but only if I can come off aspirin (75mg) for a few days. This is because he’s afraid I might bleed into the sciatic nerve, which could be disastrous. I’m seeing my

Time to try some extended release?
I realize this comes up for discussion quite frequently, but I’m going to ask for some advice here for my particular situation. I was diagnosed January 14/ 2014 with idiopathic Parkinsons Disease, and purposefully avoided starting the C/L treatment as long as I felt I could. I don’t remember the exact

Shingles jab
I may be the last person to know this, but.......having been told to avoid the shingles jab as it contained a live virus, I've just been told that the NHS no longer use live virus vaccines, so it's safe for MPN patients. I have now had my first shot👍
