This time I wanted to bring up that every weekend I’m stuck inside by myself with nothing but TB, video games, my computer etc. I miss seeing friends and going out. This has been a torturous year and a half like this. I feel like this cycle never ends and there is nowhere out. How am I supposed to feel

Accrete D3
Is it ok to cut Accrete D3 tablets in half? I’m thinking 2 tablets a day is too much calcium and 1 isn’t enough so I thought I’d try 1.5 but I’m not sure you’re meant to cut them for some reason.

Best bone supplements
I never know which supplements to take, or which are good. Can anyone recommend? Does anyone take this one? I have osteopenia age 45 through having my ovaries removed post cancer, and am very keen to stop any further bone loss. This forum is amazing, thanks so much for all the posts and advice. :) Rundown

Bad reaction to sublingual b12....
Hi All, After having a bad reaction to the Jarrows 1000mcg sublingual b12 which was an acne and dermatitis related bright red scaly rash over my face, I’ve decided I’m going to give the 50mcg cyanocobalamin tablets a good go to see if they raise my b12 levels. It says on the packet 1-3 a day so I’m thinking

Help with blood test results - taking too much levothyroxine?
Hello, I just got my results back (I'm still waiting for folate) from my latest blood test after starting levothyroxine earlier this year. I wasn't able to get a full thyroid panel (I'm overseas and it's not offered here) but I'm hoping you can give me some advice based on my results. I'm wondering if

Worried about Dad
Hello everyone, I am new to the group and need a bit of advice. My Dad is now 74 and takes statins due to a mild heart attack last year and had a stent put in. He asked me was there any vitamins he could take as his memory is starting to fail him. His older brother is also in a care home from last year

Free T3 is 4.0 and top range is 4.4Free T4 is 1.82 and top range is 1.77 Reverse T3 is 25 down from 40 top range is 24 TPO is 15(0-35) Does this say I have Hashimoto’s and don’t convert from T4 to T3 well? Hormone doc gave me Cytomel. I’m on Testosterone shots and vitamin D3 7,000 IU’s daily liquid

Advice on treatment for osteoporosis.
Hi, I’m new here and this is my first post. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2015 after I sustained a right hip fracture following a fall. DEXA scan showed T.score -3.1 spine; -2.6 femoral neck; -2.9 left hip. I was started on Adcal-D3 and alendronic acid. I stopped the Alendronate after 6 months

Stomach acid effects on oral Bisphosphonates
Has anyone got experience of how Bisphosphonates are affected by stomach acid? Could reduced stomach acid cause unresponsive esophageal valves that then leak stomach contents after taking Bisphosphonates? Presumably, Bisphosphonates are tested on healthy volunteers, not those people with coexisting

Hot flushes and night sweats
Hi all, I’m 35 and have very low AMH. I had an ICSI cycle cancelled before egg collection earlier this year because I didn’t respond to the medications. We’re having a break until the new year when we’re hoping to go for a private cycle, but recently I’ve been having hot flushes and night sweats. I

Vitamin D3 spray recommendations?
Happy Monday all! Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good vitamin D3 spray or a place to get VD3 Injections? I’ve been VitD deficient for years now and I just can’t seem to get it raised enough or even sustain the slight raise that I do get. Any help/suggestions would be oh so welcome! R xx

When researchers ask wrong questions, they get wrong answers
Received a link to this story: https://www.medpagetoday.com/meetingcoverage/asbmr/82341 I felt compelled to comment that 2,000 IU may have been much too low a dose depending on a number of factors (weight, current serum level of 25-OH vitamin D, desired serum level of Vitamin D.) I left a link to

Any B12 deficient/high homocysteine people with OCD? Benefits and problems after supplementation. (Also folate and vitamin D borderline low)
Hi, I found some research about B12 deficiency and OCD, tho some link homocysteine and vitamin D. What was interesting to me is that there are two case studies (not enough, but interesting) saying that two B12 deficient OCD people recovered completely after supplementing with B12 (I will link the studies
