Provenge extends survival for mCRPC patients, compared with Zytiga and Xtandi alone

Not sure if this was posted already, but seems like adding Provenge to the treatment regimen for mCRPC improves overall survival over Zytiga and Xtandi (and the numbers are pretty significant): link.springer.com/article/1...

I hope so, that stuff was a pain in the rear time wise.

Curious-

I have been on Zytiga, Lupron and Prednisone for the last 27 months. My PSA has been steady at 0.02. I am going to turn 70 in 6 weeks and i feel good. I have over 25 Mets but they are all either dead or sleeping. My only side effect is hot flashes but they are much better than they used to be.

I don’t have any experience in adding anything else.

Best wishes- Bruce

I'm right there with you. Extensive bone mets. 70 and been doing this 3 years and 8 months.

One plus extra year (average) is pretty good. They're playing with statistics, but if that is real world, count me in. I'll do the time.

I’ll take another year. Who knows what other discovery will be available then.

3 years 8 months is way above average for Abi. Congrats! Have you had chemo? I haven’t but if the PSA starts to rise, that’s what they want to have me do.
