Result! For once!
So, today after so much pain I had my first laporoscopy. I had been worried sick for weeks, after reading posts about surgeons finding nothing. The pain was ruining me, i could barely do anything. Luckily, I have the best supportive friends who came and brought me popcorn and sweeties and had movie nights

Is there a link between having Mirena Coil fitted and a flair up of Hashimotos?
Recently had coil fitted, 6 months after baby number 3. Feeling exhausted and very very forgettful. Just tested bloods and T3 is low at 3.2 and antibodies high at 488. Told by doc that the coil takes time to settle in your system but it took almost 4 weeks of a fairly light bleed before it did, It seems

IUD
I had an IUD fitted on the 3rd of August this year. Since then I’ve had spotting of blood and sometimes heavy brown discharge. I’m also got light pain on my lower abdomen. The discharge doesn’t really have a smell. I was given antibiotics after it was inserted. So can anyone help me, to put my mind

Extreme fatigue and passing out
Hey everyone I’ve been struggling with adapting to a new job these past few weeks. I struggled for two years with my career and this could be a dream job, so I’ve been coming home and just sleeping (or attempting to) instead of being active which I usually try to maintain. My partner and I are even

What should I do next?
Hi Everyone, I wanted to ask everyone is there something I should be doing when I go to my next appointment. I’ve always suffered from heavy, painful periods since I was 11 causing me to miss school and then later on work. As I got older I went on the pill and then had the implant which I found did not

I don't know what's wrong with me
This is my first post so please forgive me if this makes no sense. I'm trying to find answers for what is exactly wrong with my body. As far as I can remember I've been told in anemic, and I've always had heavy and painful periods since my very first period. As I grew up I was told one day my hormones

Just been diagnosed
Hi I found out last year I have endometriosis. It was given as a diagnosis almost as an aside rather than an explanation of symptoms I’ve been suffering for years. The coil has helped and I realise my symptoms are not as severe as many are having to deal with on here but it is still having a huge impact

Copper Coil- Spotting inbetween periods a year after fitting.
So I've had an IUD since last August (2017) and I am having spotting inbetween my periods each month, and sometimes stomach cramps. I've read a lot on spotting in the first 3 months and initial fitting of the IUD but not in the long term? Has anyone else experienced this and if so is it something to

Shooting pains up vagina
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. I’ve had such a swollen stomach for about 3 weeks, and now almost every time I sit down the shooting pains up my vagina are just horrible. I finished my period 3/4 weeks ago, but I’m on the coil so I don’t have them very regularly at all. It’s hurting to walk and

Have faith
I am a 52 year old I fell on the ice and January. Which led to A cat scan of the MRI and then I was sent to a neurologist because nothing was found in my doctor said the pain was all in my head. The neurologist then told me to bring my disks the head from my other doctors and the minute he looked

What now?
Hi everyone, My name's Hannah and I'm about to turn 20 this week. I had a laparoscopy 2 months ago during which they diagnosed endometriosis. I was seen by a specialist centre and a specialist surgeon so I genuinely believe he knew what he was doing. I also had the coil put in during the surgery. However

What do you say now??
Hi gals. Firstly I would like to send my love to each and every one of you wether your fighting for a diagnosis, some one to listen to you or the daily hell that is it disease. I had an exploratory lap in ‘16 and was diagnosed with ‘very mild’ endo on bowel bladder and pod. Was told it’s not the cause

Endometriosis came back worse - freaking out.
Hi. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy 2 years ago (found adhesions and several chocolate cysts around my ovaries along with a distended bowel) and over the past year the symptoms have returned ten times worse. I have near constant pain in my pelvis, under both my ribs and in my stomach, I constantly need
