Copper Coil- Spotting inbetween periods a year after fitting.

So I've had an IUD since last August (2017) and I am having spotting inbetween my periods each month, and sometimes stomach cramps.

I've read a lot on spotting in the first 3 months and initial fitting of the IUD but not in the long term?

Has anyone else experienced this and if so is it something to worry about?

I have been to my local GUM clinic in the passed but have been made to test for any infections/ STI's which I am clear of.

Please Let me know! I appreciate it, thanks :)

I’m suffering the exact same symptoms. My spotting seems to happen 2 weeks after my period.
