Copper coil fitted
I had the copper coil fitted today at 8am it was one of the most painful things I have ever done. I have had period cramps since it got inserted and they have been so painful. It’s now 10pm and still have such sore period pains, is this normal?

Coil worries/laparoscopy update
Hi Everyone, I am nearly a week post op now and I'd say I'm doing pretty well, I'm up and about pretty much normal just a bit sore, all the trapped gas has gone thank god, which was causing me the most discomfort. I only have one concern, I also had the mirena coil fitted during my procedure and over

Endo pain After sex!
Hey! I haven't written on here for a few months now! After being diagnosed with endo covering Womb, Ovaries and tubes in October, they put a coil in to try and help! Well I'm 2 months away from seeing my consultant again about it and I can't wait! The coil has done nothing for my pain infact it's made

Depo to pill to copper coil
Hi all, I've been on the depo injection for around 9 years but wanted to get back into a normal routine with a cycle. I went on the combined pill but due to high blood pressure I had to change to the progestrogen only pill. This has caused my periods to stop again. I was wondering about changing to

Copper Coil IUD. To help those who may have the same problems.
I got my coil fitted 19th December 2018 straight after I had my period exactly a day after. The fitting hurt a little bit after taking some deep breaths everything was fine. However, people expericance pain on different levels. I then had my first period 9th January 2019, normally my period last for

What do I do next. Nothing came up in my laparoscopy
I have been bounced from pillar to post. Urology, gastro and gyno twice for over 2years. I also went private to see a gyno and he said he was sure it was endo, and he could feel it? I had my first lap Tuesday, but nothing was found and they fitted the coil. But she said there was still a chance that

Removal of womb lining following endo
I had lining of womb removed and coil fitted following endo removal- only coped with coil for a year and then had removed as I felt so ill and had pain. 2 years on back pain and nausea diarrhoea every 2 weeks- and so drained- my system is so mucked up 😩 anyone else had this? Waiting to be referred again

Decapeptyl SR injection - stopped after 27months waiting for cycle to start
Hi, This is my first post and I am hoping someone has experience and can share their experience with me. Has anyone been on injection long term and how long did it take for cycle to return when they stopped? Long story short - I was prescribed monthly injection and add back HRT to give me a break

Laparoscopy update
Hi lovelies, I have had my procedure and I am in a lot of discomfort and fragile but okay, and most importantly am still seizure free! I went into theatre at about 2:45pm and came out at 4:30pm. They found endometriosis on my left side which is where I would get the stabbing and aching symptom, he successfully

How long to wait for laparoscopy since referral?
Hi, Last week I saw my endometriosis doctor, and signed the consent forms etc. for laparoscopic surgery, as well as getting a coil fitted and cauterisation in the same procedure. I'm wondering how long people tend to have to wait for their surgeries? I'm in the southwest (Cornwall) if that makes any

Hey Everyone, So I went to see my gynaecologists yesterday after trying the Qlaira pill for 6 months as was suggested when I went in August 18. Mirena coil
I had the coil fitted around 6 weeks ago and I’m due my check up. I bled a lot for around the first 4 weeks and then it started to lighten up, I’m currently still bleeding but it’s more of the browny colour one is this a sign that I’m stopping or does this mean something else??

Post surgery, HRT and IUD rant!
Hey, few questions! I posted a while back but since then I have had surgery and after 11 years finally been diagnosed with endo. He said it was extensive and thankfully got rid of it all, I had a follow up the week after and he said everything was as expected. He then mentioned that if the pain doesn

What to do after laparoscopic treatment?
Hello everyone, I had my third excision surgery for endometriosis yesterday. I’ve never reacted well to the pill, coil etc so I didn’t consider taking them following my previous operation. However, as 5 years later I’ve now had to have surgery again I wonder if the pill is a good idea to suppress regrowth

Is it endometriosis even though I have ZERO periods???
Okay please bare with me here... I have suffered with aches and pains in my pelvic area for about 3 years now. 2016, I ballooned weight wise and my periods stopped, I went to the doctors to check my hormones in case it was PCOS and everything was fine so no more was done. Also in 2016 I had my first

Hello! I recently got the coil fitted (8th of Jan). before this, I was on the pill for about 3 months. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone had the same symptoms as me? I was lying on my left side, when suddenly there was an awful pain on my right side, it was so painful I had to sit up and nearly

Kidney biopsy AV Fistula
So after I got my kidney biopsy on Monday I ended up with a AV fistula. They went in the groin and put a coil in to just stop the blood flow between the vein and artery. I think it is called a renal embolization. Has anyone else been through this ? How was your pain after? I am on day 4 and I am feeling
