Hormonal depression
Tips for dealing with hormone related depression? I’m currently waiting for a procedure to remove my coil as the strings are lost, so I can’t even get it out ASAP. The depression is getting bad and I things I usually enjoy aren’t helping.

It is endrometriosis
For a good while I had pain lower right side every week but not every day. Scans did not pick up anything so I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last Monday. They found endrometriisis on outside womb bladder side towards the right They treated this as well as taking a biopsy from inside my womb & fitted coil

Hi all I have no official diagnosis but have all the signs. I'm 44 and had a mirena coil inserted in march during hysteroscopy and polypectomy. Since then my pain is increasing 10 fold and the bleeding is brown/black mixed with red and dark clots. My tv scan 6 weeks ago showed another haemorrhagic cyst

First proper period after lap 😩
Hi Guys.. So I had my lap on the 14th June, they also interred a coil - from the minute I woke up I was bleeding... this lasted 18 days (coil decided to come out on day 15). I had 3 weeks of NO bleeding 🥳 the longest it’s been in 3 years 💅🏻. Period started three days ago, it’s awfully heavy but that

25mg of thyroxine for depression?
Hello all, I haven't written on here for a while. I had half my thyroid removed in 2014 for an inconclusive nodule and have not been on any medication since then. All results still in mid-range (TSH about 1.5 (although has gone up as far as 2.5 sometimes) FT4 15-16 and FT3 anything from 4-5.7. TSH

BGSE appointment-help!
Hi all, bit of a strange one but I had my laparoscopy in March, and I've continued to be in pain since then. This was at my local hospital, not a BSGE centre. I haven't been impressed with the gynae who lied and said I'd agreed to go on the pill rather than giving me a lap, then didn't tell me all that

Tilted cervix but not tilted uterus?
Hello I've tried googling an answer but can't find one. During a smear /colposcopy I was told that I have a tilted cervix, they explained this could be the reason why I have alot of pain when speculum are used. They they applied pressure one side of the speculum and the pain did ease quite a bit. But

Alternative treatment
Hello, I was diagnosed with endometriosis over 20 years ago and had laser surgery to remove what they could and had my cervix quarterized. I've had 2 children and symptoms were manageable for a while. However over the last year things have been bad, daily pain and bleeding. I've had scans and been diagnosed

Coil check up/string
I had my coil fitted in January of this year (2019) but I haven’t been for a check up at all since I’ve had it done as I’m so scared because it caused me a lot of pain when fitting. Is it painful getting it checked out?? Also should your partner be able to feel the string bit when having sex? He’s says

Bleeding after IUD fitted 1.5 years ago
Hi All, I had my IUD (Mirena) fitted in December 2017 and didn't have many issues up until recently. I have noticed that I have spotting around when my period should be, but this is lasting much longer than it used to (around 10 days). I have also noticed during and after sex that there is a brown discharge

Has anyone had the mirena coil and still experiencing endo pain?
Hi Ladies, I'm searching to see if there are any other ladies out there that is going through a similar situation I am going through. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2014. I always had endo pain which was bearable with pain relief at first but got worse so I had an laparoscopy in 2015. Last year

Sex and Post Sex Bleeding
13 weeks post lap surgery this weekend. So yes I am trying to get back to normal after hours activities. I had the marina and fitted after previously being on nothing as nothing agreed with me! Anyway, prior to surgery I never used to bleed - maybe a little on wiping the day after but only a slightest

Coil for menstrual migraines?
Has anyone tried or had any success with having a coil fitted to stop menstrual migraines? I'm really nervous about trying anything like that but migraines have been appalling for the last 6 months...

Fed up of hormonal contraceptives
I don’t know what to do. I’ve been trying different ones for the best part of 5 years and can’t find one to suit! I want to come off of hormonal contraceptives altogether but my GPs have always put me back on something. Should I go back to the GP? I’ve written below all that I’ve tried.... I can’t

Nexplanon Implant to IUD Coil
I have been on the Nexplanon Implant for 5yrs and I don’t feel it works for me, I am often getting extremely long periods (several weeks) that are fairly light, but constant spotting. I’ve had the kyleena coil fitted since July last year, and for the last 3 months I’ve started getting periods... is this normal or should I get it checked? I thought you didn’t get periods on the coil!
