Living Hell (SORRY FOR THE LONG POST)
I guess I should start from the beginning. I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts at 12yrs old. My appendix burst when I was 13 as they dismissed the pain as a cyst, this caused huge amount of problems and I'm 30 yrs old in a few months time and the passed 7 years have been hell. I had my first diagnostic

Missed diagnosed 🤔
Hi lovelies, I'm not sure were to start but is it possible for Endo to missed? I had a laparoscopy in June 2017 and they said no Endo was found but I did have a cysts on my left ovary. This was drained. Although I did have an internal scan in Jan 2018, the nurse asked about my symptoms and she told

How soon can I use tampons?
It's been r weeks since I had a laparoscopy and coil fitted. Had Endo removed and layered off. How soon can I start using tampons? Having what i assume is my first period since op, up to 5 days of medium bleeding and sick of using pads.

Pain with Copper Coil
Hi, I had the copper coil fitted about three weeks ago and it was horrendous. I wasn’t nauseous, unable to move, fever and sick several times and faded in and out of consciousness on top of stomach cramps!! The past week I’ve had really bad stomach cramps that I’ve had to sit down and have felt really

24 hours later - diagnostic laparoscopy
I had lap yesterday to diagnose and treat endo and put in Mirena coil. I was admitted 7am and was very fortunate to be first on the list so was in surgery by 8.30am. They put me in a gown and compression stockings and my consultant popped by on his way in to say hello and confirm what would be done.

Does Endo ease during/after menopause?
I have had heavy debilitating periods since my late teens. Always just accepted it as ‘normal for me’. 5 years ago, following abdominal pain, I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts. My consultant referred me for laporoscapy and coil as she thought I had endometriosis. Unfortunately, personal circumstances

How long before biopsy results
Just wondering how long after your laparoscopy you had your biopsy results? I had my diagnostic laparoscopy 2 weeks ago. I had adhesions removed, merina coil fitted and biopsies taken during day surgery. Still waiting on results though

Life after Surgery
Morning Ladies, I just wanted to find out from people in general what their experiences have been like since having surgery? I had my lap nearly two years ago (July 2017) and then I had the mirena coil as a way to prevent my endometriosis from coming back post surgery. I have since decided to remove

Bleeding after septate uterus surgery
I had surgery on Wednesday to remove septate in uterus and coil fitted to help aid recovery before TTC again. I was wondering if anyone has had this done and can advise when the pain and bleeding is likely to stop? I don’t know if what I’m experiencing is linked to surgery or to the coil being fitted

Pain nearly 3 weeks after lap
Hi I had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and coil fitted almost 3 weeks ago. Since about 5 days after the op I have had pain in right shoulder blade that goes across back and pain in chest rib area. It seems to be below my breast, sort of just below bra line where is occurs. It's like a pain/ache that I

Having copper IUD today - can't take any painkillers
Hi there, I am having a copper IUD fitted this afternoon (I know, bit late to be asking this but I suffer from really high anxiety and didn't want to read any horror stories on the internet). My issue is although I was advised to take two paracetamol or Ibuprofen before the procedure, I am not able

Periods on rivaroxiban
Hi has anybody had bad periods on rivaroxiban? following 2 blood transfusions I’ve had the coil fitted and still losing to much blood I have had the coil in a month now and hasn’t made a difference. Dr had lowered the dose to 15 mg but won’t take of rivaroxiban.

When will I feel better
So on Thursday 21st March I had a diagnostic laparoscopy in which the surgeon found adhesions on my right ovary, tube and bowl. He removed these adhesions but I'm still waiting to hear anything else. He also took biopsies and fitted the merina coil. When fitting the coil he said the hole on my cervix

Treatment options, no diagnosis
Hi all, I’ve seen 2 gynaecologists in 2 years after fighting for a referral. Finally been referred to a pain clinic too. I have all the symptoms of endo, but had a laparoscopy with no findings. My gp still thinks I have endo though. Gynae don’t particularly want to do another laparoscopy which is fine

Mirena coil and side effects
I've had the mirena coil fitted for just over a month and I've been suffering a bit with it. I have been experiencing quite severe cramping pretty much since I had it fitted and I have been taking naproxen and codine, as these are the only painkillers that work for me. I have also been spotting since
