Treatment options, no diagnosis

Hi all,

I’ve seen 2 gynaecologists in 2 years after fighting for a referral. Finally been referred to a pain clinic too.

I have all the symptoms of endo, but had a laparoscopy with no findings. My gp still thinks I have endo though. Gynae don’t particularly want to do another laparoscopy which is fine by me and have given me three treatment options: a double dose of the progesterone only pill (one doesn’t work for me, but apparently 2 might do), the coil, the zoladex injection.

I discussed all 3 options with my pain consultant, who seems to think that a double dose of the pill will be a waste of time and has suggested considering the other two options.

So... can people tell me about their experiences of any of these options, particularly if you have tried a double dose of the progesterone only pill and it has worked for you?

Thank you!!

Hello, I had a lap last year that showed nothing but the areas i needed looking at weren't. Im booked in for another lap as its getting worse every month now and my bowel is effected. Would you not push for another lap? Im on the combined pill but im at a point where im having to stop the bleeding as its so bad and out my rectum too. I can only suggest trying different things to see what works best. You might find though that over a period of time it will have less effect x
