Alternative to the coil?
Today I finally had a consultation with a gynaecologist about possible endo (which he confirmed was probably what’s happening). He said my only option is the coil, which isn’t something I’m very comfortable getting done. Are there other options to the coil? Thanks so much!

Need advice/support
Hi there, I'm 27 and currently unable to work due to pain/flare ups I've been having. Last year my flare ups began getting worse so I began to go in and out of hospital. They noticed I was having cysts on my ovaries. (May 20) Eventually I was seen by gynecology at my local hosp and after examinations

Just Need Some Help
I am just having a horrendous time and don't know what to do. I have been bleeding every single day since January 2019. I had the copper coil fitted for 7 months and couldn't handle it anymore so had it removed. In that time, I was hospitalised twice due to the pain. The bleeding has never stopped

Hello, I'm having my first laparoscopy next Tuesday, and I'm so anxious. My gynaecologist is 99% sure that it's endo, but I'm scared they won't find anything. I get bad cramping all the time, particularly during ovulation and periods, stabby pains in my abdomen on the right side, problems with my bladder

Bladder issues
I have confirmed adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis, I'm at a loss at the moment. I keep having pain when I pee and I am not sure what I can do. Been to the doctors who offer me the coil, mini pill or a dipstick test to see if it's a uti (never is) or I just have to wait around 6 months for a gynecology

What to do?
May have triggers Evening all, long time lurker, first time poster. I am having a really down day today and don’t know how to pull myself out of it. I have recently been diagnosed with possible endometriosis and am awaiting a laparoscopy. 3yrs ago I came off the combined pill because it made me suicidal

Mirena for heavy periods
Hello, I had the Mirena coil fitted 4 months ago for heavy periods, with fibroids and adenomyosis. I had to wait a year to get a gynecology appointment, and had a hysteroscopy, and the Mirena fitted at the same time. I have not had a follow up appointment, and have been finding it hard to even get through

Negative laparascopy
Hi everyone, I had my first lap today and was told I didn’t have endometriosis. They suggested the mirena coil to help my symptoms. Has anyone else been told they were negative and to get the coil and how did they find it? I have anxiety so I’m worried it will affect my overall mood. Thanks! Lauren

Advice removing coil? And trying for a baby?
I have been told today that I should try for a baby sooner rather than later, I had the coil fitted a year ago to help with my endo and I have been very lucky and it's helped. Has anyone had the Marina coil and how long did it take to get pregnant,(I know we are all different but I need to work stuff

Update.
Had my lap yesterday which found NO endometriosis but confirmed my adenomyosis as my uterus was thick. Surgeon said for women my age (24) the extent of my andeomyosis is more seen in middle aged women. Gave me a coil to help with the adeno. However they also found scar tissue lesions on my bowel hence

Mirena coil and leg pain
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with rectovaginal endometriosis stage 3 in early April. At the same time as the laparoscopy, I had the Mirena coil fitted. It has taken a while to settle down and I’ve had random bleeding between periods etc. Actual periods have been lighter though

Mirena Coil replaced
Hi I’m getting my Mirena coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off. My question is, has anyone found after getting their coil replaced it didn’t work as effectively
