Unsure what to do?
Hello, my A level exams are coming up and I'm quite scared to do them. I'm in pain constantly and recently had a coil fitted. The pain killers I usually take make me very tierd and disoriented. I'm terrified to get my period during exam season because I can't get out of bed for a week during it. I'm

Zoladex
Good Morning, I had a further catch up with my specialist yesterday and as i'm still getting a lot of pain symptoms that haven't gotten any better after my second laparoscopy + coil. They have now recommended that the next step would be to go on Zoladex, I'm pretty weary about this drug as I've heard

Finally giving up?
It's been a year since we did our third round of ivf. My periods have slowly been getting worse again, to a point where I struggle to go to work. I've seen the gp, been referred to the hospital and then been back to the gp. All of them have said I should go back on the pill or get a coil. My husband

Not had a great experience with implant, how will I cope with coil?
I had the implant put in 3 years ago nearly and had no issues for the first few months. After that had on and off bleeding like normal period , sometimes it can last up to 2 months at a time have a week off and back on again, or I can be off for a few months. I’m getting the coil soon and wondered whether

Hi all, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in March '19 after undergoing a laparoscopy. Three weeks ago a large part of my womb lining fell out and I was taken back in to hospital, where I was advised to get the Coil fitted. So two days ago I had the Mirena Coil implanted and have been in agony since

The nurse @ my Dr's office actually laughed, & said it's not possible.. Though embarrassed, I showed my boyfriend, then showed him what Lorena looks like, & he

Bleeding after sex, copper iud
Hi all, I had the iud inserted 3 months ago and my periods have been awful, super heavy and long (I have never had bad periods so it may not be as bad as I think). Also I have had a lot of spotting in between and in the last month I have noticed bleeding a day after having sex. Has anyone experienced

Interstitial cystitis
Hello my lovelies, Looking for some advice on if interstitial cystitis can be missed on a rigid cystoctopy? Here's the short version of my story: Been dealing with basically recurring UTI's but no infection found for the last 6 years. It's every symptom of a UTI + bloating & there's always blood in

Copper coil bleeding advice
Hi, I had the copper coil fitted 3 weeks ago, I want it to work as it’s got no hormones but I’ve had constant heavy bleeding and all the period symptoms for 3 weeks and it’s draining me everyday 😅 is there anyone that’s took the pill for a bit to settle the periods or any advice? Thanks
