Are Imodium Instants better than loperamide?

I usually buy unbranded loperamide for diarrhoea but have noticed several people mentioning Imodium Instants. Looking at the packet, they don`t seem to be much different from Loperamide and are a lot more expensive. I wondered if really do work faster or is it just a marketing ploy?

Imodium plus usually works for me. Don't know about the others.

Ask your doctor for some Mebeverine. It’s the best so far.

Don’t believe the marketing hype. It’s all the same. Just use generic loperamide. Have you looked at buying it online? Can sometimes work out cheaper.

Speak to GP, I have it on repeat prescription and could not do with it
