Treatment protocols

My wbc count dropped significantly between hospital blood draw for Monday’s port placement and Tuesday’s blood draw for 2nd treatment. They got insurance approval for Neulasta (sent us off to lunch to wait) and called me back in to do it. Without the approval I was going to have to wait a week. So now oncologist said that with Neulasta I can have treatments every 10 days as long as wbc counts are good. He wants to really go after this he said. I am stage 2b Does anyone have any experience with an every 10 day treatment protocol instead of 21 days?
