Really hoping this is the one that works for you Blueberry!! ππ€ Out of interest were your clinic happy for you to transfer two? I've been wondering whether to do the same, but I wasn't sure if I'd be allowed to. X
Thank you dear - no they weren't as their protocol is to always transfer one. Giving all the preps necessary, leave from work and travel expenses and also always wishing to try it once I send them an email on the day before that i wish to transfer two and they just told me to write in consent form the risks involved.
Yeah, that's what I thought about them usually transferring one. I will give it some thought and see how I feel closer to the time. I won't be transferring for another month yet, as I'm doing an ERA cycle this month.
No harm in taking paracetamol before. But try not to overthink about it- honestly it was like an uncomfortable pap smear and lasted a few seconds. Do you have a date yet?
I'm going to try and relax as much as possible and not overthink it like you say. That way it'll hopefully be over super quickly. I'm actually having my ERA, EMMA and ALICE done tomorrow. Hoping the results come back OK as I'd ideally like to get another transfer in before Xmas.
Best of luck for tomorrow. If you wish, let me know how it went xxx the results should be in by a week or so, obviously confirm with the clinic. After the procedure, all treatment is stopped and your period starts after a few days
Oh no worries. I was told two weeks for the results too, but I thought maybe they just said that and it could come in earlier than that. Two weeks works for me.
Just thought I'd update you that I had my biopsy this morning and it was absolutely fine. I felt some very minor cramping and discomfort, but it was very very quick.
Totally understandable. So hard to keep calm during this part of the process with so much riding on it. I hope you're able to stay relatively calm and take care of yourself! xxx
Good luck Blueberry. I have my first FET tomorrow with my embryo from my sister's doner egg - transfer 3 in total. They won't allow me to transfer 2 (I have 4 on ice) as my sister has younger and better quality eggs. So wish I could do the 2. Good luck with the 2ww xx
This is my fourth one, that is why I decided to do this. Best of luck for the transfer tomorrow xxx how sweet of your sister to support you this way xx
Hey just wondering how did your transfer go? Did the doctor say anything? What was your CD today for the transfer as I have had 5 transfers all bfn so thought it might give an idea as I prepare for fet.
My transfer day was CD21 this time- it varied between CD19-CD21 during the last 4 transfers- my doctor always explained that it is the time of progesterone exposure that it is the most imp in the medicated cycle (transfer needs to happen on the 6th day of prog supplementation). May I ask what days were your transfers done? And if they were fresh or frozen?
I have had 4 fresh and one frozen which all were bfnπ My next 6th transfer would be frozen, this time I had hysteroscopy biopsy taken for any infection and to check inside of uterus.
I don't really remember the CD for transfer will need to see my notes and can tell you. But have had many so really hoping this time is the time for usπ€
I have heard a lot of positive outcome with the frozen transfers as the body is more calm and heals with the meds and collection process, also when I met the embryologist he told me you have had mostly fresh transfers so the frozen one will definitely make the difference and have an edge so here I am hopingπ€
So my CD was day 20 with a 4aa DE embryo. The transfer itself went really well, just made sure I had a full bladder. I had been on progynova for 19 days and intramuscular progesterone for 6 days.
I am currently 4dp5dt with no symptoms apart from a tugging/heavy feeling in the low left. Definitely feel better doing the FET. Test day is 18th Nov xx
Iβve just had a double transfer! In my case they decided because of my age (37) that Iβd get 2β¦ after them building up the risks etc I was shocked and a little nervous tbh but they seem to think the chance of twins is still low!
Best of luck dear! I am going abroad for each retrieval/ transfer and this is my fourth. I wanted to give this a try due to chances/ logistics/ time, money and vacation leave from work. Its becoming impossible
