Our first baby
The next step on our path was to seek help from a
fertility
clinic. To our surprise, all our test results came back normal. The GP's reassuring words were, "You are both normal; you just haven't found the right timing yet." This provided us with immense relief.

Bleeding through stims and higher progesterone
Unfortunately, the
fertility
clinic didnt do any scan or blood test before stims which I think would have helped (I had enquired about that before I started stims but was told it wasnt necessary). Thank you!

teratazoospermia - what’s next
My husband had his tests, he has teratazoospermia and has been told, it will be difficult for us to get pregnant and we will need a referral to the
fertility
clinic. Has anyone had any experience with teratazoospermia? Did you get pregnant? Or were you referred for IVF?

As you guys will all be too aware, with
fertility
treatment pretty much everything is out of our control. But we do have control over who we share this information with, and today she took that control from me!

Sensitive : BFP rainbow baby
None of this has been easy and if I am honest I had lost all hope of ever being pregnant again, along side grief ,
fertility
treatment , life has been so empty and we have had two BFN's and another embryo thaw failure.

OHSS - anyone else struggled/struggling?
Out of these 23 follicles, 13 had eggs, 11 fertilised and 7 made it to the freezer with A/B grades (really happy with that number) So, predictably I did develop OHSS quite soon after, my abdomen was quite swollen before egg retrieval (68 is a lot of follicles), the
fertility
clinic were great, advised

Utter despair after failed fertility treatment
Hi everyone, I have been undergoing
fertility
treatment for over two years now. In this time we had three unsuccessful rounds of IUI. I have pcos so was told I had to have IUI first before the NHS would consider funding IVF.

Good reads for endometriosis? IVF?
Anyone found any comfort in any books regarding endometriosis or coming to terms with
fertility
issues? I feel like my biggest frustrations come from not having enough helpful information. I’ve researched everything but just perhaps looking for something less medical to read, maybe comforting?

1st laparoscopy - what to expect?
We've come to the laparoscopy in a roundabout way really as we've experienced
fertility
issues and after two failed rounds of IVF this year and a hysteroscopy to remove a giant polyp in February - I've been recommended a laparoscopy as I had a lot of adhesions and scarring in my uterus in February and

reoccurrent miscarriage & endo
I’m feeling pretty enraged that not one of the 5
fertility
doctors I’ve seen suggested it could be endo, even though they could clearly see my ovary was behind my uterus on ultrasound. It turns out it was stuck there with endo tissue.

Successful pregnancy after a laparoscopy?
On the other hand I can find information that a laparoscopy has no or few adverse effects on
fertility
(suggesting it'd cause further damage?) - so I am really confused. I am self-paying this aand feeling a bit panicked thinking perhaps this is a very expensive mistake...

How low have your AMHs been when successfully collecting eggs?
I wrote a week or so about donor egg logistics etc, but we’ve decided to have a look at our own stats with a
fertility
MOT, just so that we fully know our options.

Feeling Lost and Frustrated
As I'm 31, I'm well aware of
fertility
and the ticking clock. I'm desperate to be a Mum but I can't do anything about it as I need my endo and
fertility
issues looking at before I can even bring it up in conversation.

Help with surgery preparations
I had frequent discussions with my consultant regarding surgical aspects and have also seen
fertility
specialist who have mentioned that prospects of
fertility
are not good at all as my egg reserves are next to nil. The consultants have been understanding and supportive.

PGT-A Testing - Any experience with this?
(i have looked into going to see Professor Jan Brosens, however the consultant at the
fertility
clinic feels that we should try the PGT testing done over against this, as its a common problem with failed implantation is because of the Embryo) The consultant has said that as far as they can tell from

Donor egg IVF
I'm on phase what feels like 500 of our
fertility
journey. We finally have a donor and start our frozen egg round in July. I'm a bag of emotions right now. We've had such awful experiences with IVF, so I'm scared we will get nothing.

Laparoscopy 4 months ago privately and problem has returned
I paid privately as I am undergoing
fertility
treatment and needed my tube sorting to be able to carry on. Going in to the operation I was told I would either have my tube clipped or removed depending on what could be done. I was happy to go along with this.
