I had a blood test few weeks back result was Alp 177and Alt 50. GP repeated them and they came back Alt 30, Alp 139 BUT GGT 105 which wasn’t tested previously. I paid to have an ultrasound scan which showed intrahepatic bile duct dilation of 3.6mm. Everything else was ok in terms of liver gall bladder

Quick recap, Dr originally diagnosed me with PMR, put me on 30 mg prednisone 14 weeks ago. After no great improvement he advised me to taper off so am now reducing 1mg every 3 days, currently at 16 mg. Dr tested for HLA-B27 (possible AS or non seronegative spondylitis type but bloods showed up negative

Blood test Results AST/GGT
Hi all.I have a history of pancreatitis and liver issues. I did a private blood test in the week and it's come back that my AST and GGT are both high. GGT is worse. Should I be concerned? I'm going to ring my GP tomorrow for another blood test but wondering if I should go to A+E? I'm in pain and managing

Mycophenolate reaction
Hello, I wondered if anyone has had back pain when starting this drug? I started just over 2 weeks ago on one tablet in the evening. After about 3 days of nausea all was going well, then I started with a low dull back pain. After about a week this was more pronounced- even went to get checked out for

New Here. Overwhelmed.
48 yrs old. PSA Blood test from a physical came back with a reading of 100. Biopsy results came back with 2 Gleason 4+4's and the rest 4+3's earlier this week. Appointment with urologist Monday to discuss these results. I'm feeling overwhelmed and scared. What is the next step for me? Also does anyone

Week 3 done
