fatigue
I was just changed from monthly blood tests to 6 months and 6 month check ups....the doc said I was stable and there was a good chance i would never need treatment. I am 76 and maybe he thought I would naturally not live that long. Anyway, my concern is this ongoing fatigue that smacks me in the face

Hello peeps! I was fine, as you all said, didn't really feel the local going in! A little uncomfortable when the actual needle went in but for a few seconds only. A lovely, thoughtful team too and I agreed to partake into a Treatment Trial, non-drug, to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment

Hi All, I out of absolutely nowhere got told I had had a Heart Attack following what I thought would be a routine blood test and a day that started 5weeks ago to meet my friend in the pub for the usual Quiz night ended with me being told I had quite severe CAD and required an urgent triple CABG. Help with Medicheck results
I have been on 75mcg for a number of years since having a lobectomy and isthmusectomy in 2015. This was reduced from 100mcg in 2019 following TFT (TSH 0.02) even though I felt well on this dose. I have been feeling very fatigued and achy for a while and had a blood test by the GP in January 2023 for

Why can blood tests be so different on retest 4 weeks later & better not to react.
Well 4 weeks ago I had liver tests that showed ALT over the recommended levels.Sent docs & myself into full reaction level.Chat with nurse & pharmacist re diet & medication.Retest results back perfectly fine.On first test Alt 42 s be less than 40 .Today's result 27 without making any changes.Only thing

I have been signed off from my care at hospital after 10 years of A fib and a stroke
I had a letter from my hospital that was dealing with my last ablation in 2019 , ECG ‘s etc . That they would no longer be looking after me - 2 weeks ago. I went back into A fib summer of 2020 during covid , I had to self assess my medication and my heart rate via my watch . I could see no one because

Lost medication
Looking for a bit of advice, I suffer from terrible brain fog from time to time and unfortunately accidentally threw away my remaining Levothyroxine instead of the empty packet I thought I was disposing of. I had two weeks left of the levothyroxine before my medication review as I am on a trial. I have

Blood test protocols for B12, Folate, Ferritin and D3
Do I need to be fasting when these test are done? I managed to get my GP to order them, so I don't have to pay privately. Small win there. She is not testing any thyroid (I had 3 tests already in the last month). Thanks!

hi I hope you’re all doing well and keeping hope up wherever you’re in your journey xx I’ve FET scheduled for this Thursday, the nurse told me I need to have a blood test to check progesterone levels the day before transfer. I didn’t get this with my 1st fresh transfer (ended as MMC) so wondering what

Feeling grumpy and antsy!
My son was recently diagnosed Type 2 diabetic, and today neither of us can get our heads around what needs doing . Stuff has gone wrong big time, enough to really set us both on edge. For instance, he ordered Test strips online which should have been here yesterday. Royal MailTracking showed It has

Reduction in Ferritin Concentrations among Patients Consuming a Dark-Green Leafy Vegetable–Rich, Low Inflammatory Foods Everyday (LIFE) Diet

advice on results please!!
Hi, I recently had my bloods done with monitor my health on 10/01/24 and the results indicated low folate and thyroid levels not optimal. I then spoke to my GP but they dismissed the private tests and asked for me to have my bloods done again which I had done on 25/01/24 only because I got the appointment

Biotin use
I've been reading posts here about taking biotin & how it affects blood test results. I started daily biotin supplement around 2014 when I had a treatment for multiple sclerosis that was thinning my hair & weakening my nails. I found it was really helping & noticed a difference when I ran out once.

I’m back again …5th cycle 🤞
It feels very daunting , been over a year. Not planned to wait this long but had so many set backs. I had my laporoscopy surgery in June (after been cancelled 3 times ) , recovery and then a week before I was meant to start next cycle , I caught covid. I had an appointment last week with miscarriage

Tired, fatigued, out of breath, dizzy spells?? - don't ignore it, get checked!!
Some of you will be aware that I've posted a few times about being frustrated with my running over the last few months. I've posted about feeling tired, fatigued and just seem to be getting slower and slower. Well I now know why! April I did my first HM and got a sub 2hr which I was delighted with,
