I had my first 6 month appointment with my liver nurse last week. As part of the review I had a routine bloody test for LFT. My previous blood test was on the 14th Dec 23 and my numbers were gradually reducing.
I just had the results this morning and pretty much all my levels have increased including bilirubin which is now 58 from 35 in dec 23.
My GP has asked I contact the liver nurse who said to contact her if my bilirubin went above 50. Really worried of the sudden jump in just over a month.
Anyone know what the next steps would be?

I believe from your profile that it's PBC - (Primary Biliary Cholangitis) that is your diagnosis and rises in bilirubin and other LFT's shows the condition isn't yet fully under control.I take it you have had a read up about what PBC is and how it impacts the liver and particularly the bile ducts - hence your nurses guidance about bilirubin rising.
Do you know that there is a separate charity for PBC - the PBC Foundation. They have their own forum here on Heathunlocked at:- healthunlocked.com/pbc-foun...
