Lost and Confused
Since my Heart attack on Dec 4th 2022 when I was given 3 stents I have been to A&E three times with distressing symptoms. Each time I have to sit in a corridor for at least Seven hours to have 2 blood tests. They show no rising in my levels that held a 7. So I am told to leave and find my own way home

Awaiting phone call from GP
Hi friends I get so much sound advice from this group and your help is invaluable. As I have already posted I was diagnosed with Cirhossis following a routine blood test and a fibroscan (17kpa)as the results of the blood test showed many abnormalities. I am on 6 monthly reviews with the consultant

my ferritin has just come back as 28 (5-204) I think this is my iron store so it’s clearly deficient. I’ve struggled with anaemia since I was about 18 (maybe before but no cause before then for a blood test it was discovered when I became a donor) No one has ever given me a reason for this! And I

I had my first 6 month appointment with my liver nurse last week. As part of the review I had a routine bloody test for LFT. My previous blood test was on the 14th Dec 23 and my numbers were gradually reducing. I just had the results this morning and pretty much all my levels have increased including

palpitations and cold
hi all, newbie here. I was diagnosed under active 4 yrs ago. No symptoms but it was picked up in a blood test. 4 years on and have been suffering palpitations for around 16 months. All heart related tests are normal so it’s been put down to the 75mg meds daily. It really can be debilitating at times.

HelloHas anyone got any tips for the fingertip blood test. I've just done one this morning and hardly any blood came out. Nowhere near the amount I need to send off. Has anyone had similar problems? Thanks

Ivf abroad-were to do the pre op tests in Uk?
I am planning to have my first IVF procedure in Prague next month. I had an email from them with some blood tests required and a letter from my GP/specialist to confirm that I am fit for surgery however my GP said they’re unable to help. I will contact the clinic to see if there’s anyway I can get that

Smart asthma app?
I have had astma for over 20 years and been suffering with a chronic cough since last September and it has become much worse over the last couple of weeks. Despite different meds, nothing seems to be working and I am awaiting blood test results for Allergies. I have just seen that there is a smart asthma

milk thistle - t3 - conflicting reports
hi there my liver enzymes 151 alt max is 35 so very very high - last November were 48. AST 58 (max is 35) I read that milk thistle can help liver - and help conversion but also lowers t3 ? I’m Taking NAC 1800mg and inflammation is negligible. ESR 6 and CRP 0.6 ! 👌 ferritin 121 B12 902 and
