Skiing?
Hi all - anyone know of any reason why I can't go skiing? HA, CA and 2 stents in Feb, on Ticagrelor, aspirin, ramipril, bisoprolol and atorvostatin. Pretty fit now (for me!), 5k run 5 days a week and an experienced skiier. I'm expecting to have to wrap up warm... Thanks! B.

Ramipril
Hello, My Cardiologist has prescribed ramipril 2.5mg to slow down the growth of my aneurysm. I'm also taking Amlodipine 10mg and Citalopram 40mg for my anxiety. Has anyone else taken all 3 on a daily basis and if so, what was your experience with them? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Nicola

Vitamin K2
I started to take Vitamin K2 - but am not sure just when I should take it? I have been taking it in the morning when I take my Pred (plus Amlodipine and Atorvastatin) after my breakfast, but am wondering whether it should be at the same time as I have my chewable calcium Vit D3 tablet (2 x day, mid morning

Blood test, another! Still can see Tony Hancock’s blood donor sketch!
Ah well. If I can swing a morning appointment at the gym then I could get a good breakfast out of it! Hopefully dropping the ramipril back to 1.25mg (since 22/11) daily will show an increased performance of my kidneys! The staff used purple highlighter this time, instead of neon blue. Is that better

Constant itching
I've recently been cutting back on my dose of bisoprolol from 3.85 to near enough nothing and I've noticed extreme itching up my backside and some in other areas, I also take xarelto and ramipril. I very rarely suffer any af episodes these days but the itching is driving me nuts, creams don't really

Cerebral angiogram
Having had an aortic valve replacement in January 2018. My bloods have been showing low potassium and high sodium. My GP decided to stop Indapamde. At that point my BP went extremely high resulting in a dramatic collapse in the street and bilateral sub arachnoid haemmorage. BP 248/118. Three CT scans

Improving cardiovascular endurance?
To cut a long story short I had a heart attack in 2014 at the age of 24. My ejection fraction is 42%. I’m on the usual bisoprolol, ramipril etc for heart rate and blood pressure. Before the life changing incident I was very fit and active. Played football, keen cyclist and healthy weight. I was told

Valerian Tablets with Heart Medication
Hi everyone, does anyone take valerian tablets to help with anxiety and sleeping? I've been researching it and I can't find anything that says it isn't safe with statins, bisoprolol, ramipril etc but I wondered if any of you had any knowledge/experience of it? Thank you :)

New episode
I often browse what others share but have rarely shared myself as I've been extremely settled health wise until last night! For context, I've had momentary palpitations for years but 2 years ago had an episode of AF with irregular heartbeat and needed a cardioversion to fix it. Since then I've been on

Ramipril dose increase - BP has soared
Hi, I'm new to this forum but have been reading with interest about other people's experience of Ramipril. I was put on Nifedipine last year, then had Ramipril added but was switched to 5mg Ramipril only in June by a new doctor. All seemed fine at first, pressure was down and have felt well - not had

I feel breathless , palpitations that won’t go away , left side pain (my chest shoulder neck and abdomen) , I just think of the worse everyday , thinking am gonna die , I have been to ER several times because of chest pain , my GP doesn’t know what’s wrong with me . Sent me to a physician who admitted
