Why would you think that? If you have any concerns regarding medication contact your GP. Never stop medication without professionals advice. Be safe

Please talk to you GP, you should never stop taking the meds without consulting your GP. The question of ACE inhibitor drugs has been commented on in the media, but the European Society of Cardiology has said there is no link, please see previous post on the subject.

Talk to GP or GPs before stopping medication, as each one is taking it for a different reason. Stopping ace can kill you depending in the reason you are taking it eg heart failure...

My question is, there is all these indicators that say ace inhibitors provides a pathway for covid-19 to enter cells. As an example people taking ace for hypertension without any other underlying health issues have become seriously ill covid-19 and are in a high category for serious covid-19 illness.

Ace and covid-19 is unproven since it can take months/years of tests and the medical associations say ace is ok to keep taking.

I would like to know, where is their data and tests that prove it is ok to keep taking ACE inhibitors and that covid-19 does not cause a more serious infection. As far as I know there is none, yet they say its safe to keep taking ACE.

Yet logic states there is some sort of relationship between ace and covid-19.

Is there any data or scientific tests that state ACE inhibitors is safe to take in relation to COVID-19?
