Im a 65 year old female and had a RCA stent fitted in 2013. I can walk on the flat over a fair distance but uphill is another story mostly resulting in an angina attack. I rarely use my spray as it gives me an headache and I can manage with just resting. I admit I don’t walk everyday?
I’m 2 weeks into the slimming world diet. I lost 1 measly lb the first week and staying the same this week by the looks of it. I’m taking ramipril 5mg amlodopine 10mg bisopropol 5mg vit D, aspirin 75mg, and atorvastatin 20mg.
I’m at a loss what to do and any advise would be greatly received as I need to reduce my weight by 6 stone.

Keep walking. Stay on flat and level even if you have to drive to the flat and level place where you can walk, carefully increasing time, distance, and pace.
Weight loss plan groups are great but for most, a daily exercise routine combined with sensible diet (and the support a weight loss group provides) really works to lose/maintain weight. I know there are those who will argue that but if your experience is exercise works for your weight loss goals, then you know what works for you.
Stay flat and level even if you have to drive to the flat and level to get your daily walk done.I have to, and it's working for me. (Angina on exertion controlled by Bisoprolol 1.25mg+300mg aspirin, GTN before exertion if I know I'm going to be climbing stairs or inclines)
