Ramipril
I have been given 5mg to take once a day. Two weeks in I get a bit of hand and feet tingling at night. It seems to come a few hours before the next dose. Tonight I'm getting the tingling in feet sitting watching TV. If I walk around it goes but back again if I sit. Anyone experience with this effect?

Can Ramipril Be Harmful?
Hi, I have been prescribed Ramipril because it is being presumed I had a heart attack. I don't think I did. I think I had an acute cardiac event without heart pathology due to shock and hypothermia. My question is that if I do not have high or low blood pressure can taking this drug be harmful?

Teva felodipine
I have been on 2.5mg felodipine for a good couple of years, it’s a different make every time a prescription is dispensed. The last lot I got was Teva Folpik and have been really poorly with burning and pins and needles sensation throughout the body, itching, feeling nauseous, dry mouth, abdominal pain

Muscle tiredness
I’m 9 months post HA and Triple bypass and take Aspirin, Atenolol, Atorvastatin, Bisopralol, Clopidogrel, Omeprazole and Ramipril. I’m a Tyle 1 diabetic but I consider myself to be fairly fit again. My blood pressure is quite low having been very high post op but I’m in talks with GP about this. When

Reoccurring BP
Since November 2020 when I had my hypertensive crisis my BP has been well controlled by good eating, exercise, weight control, minimising alcohol and caffeine to an average 128/60. I take daily Amlodipine 10mg and Ramipril 2.5mg. Just lately it has spiked again last night to an alarming 178/75; this

Newbie
I’m a 75 year old in permanent AF. Started way back in 2008 but these days only mild symptoms and being treated by drugs. Since 2008 have had several cardio versions, a single ablation and an aortic valve replaced twice (2008 & 2020). I’m sure that my meds are a fairly standard ‘package’ - Warfarin,

Pleased with the following review, but why LVSD cause unclear?: " When we last caught up, the echo then demonstrated a deterioration in cardiac function along with high velocities across the aortic valve prosthesis. What was that about? 🤔
My BP has been a bit erratic for a while, normally a little higher than I'd like, 145/90 ish, but had been around 185/112 first thing in the morning. So, talking with the Dr, she suggested Amlodipine 5mg to go with the 10mg Ramipril I've been taking for years. OK so far. But this afternoon I had a weird

Worried about Amlodipine.
Hi, new to this , I've been prescribed amlodipine for high blood pressure, I have read bad things about this drug and now see an article in the Sunday Mail about if being recalled although I think this was in America. My problem is I'm having issues with numbness in my hands when I wake up, also I bought

Experience of those taking Ramipril
My GP recently prescribed Ramipril because I have been having spikes in blood pressure, possibly caused by stress. She seemed slightly doubtful that I would stick with it though. I have noticed what I think are good effects eg freezing legs not nearly so bad, but initially was affected by bouts of wind

over 300 protein in urine meaning
I'm 59 with high blood pressure taking ramipril 5 mg, which is likely not enough since random readings have been high for several months, but otherwise fit. Long standing frequent need to urinate and often thirsty. Felt a little sick/rundown the last few weeks with some lower right back pain, and went

Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. for BP
I did 6 rounds of chemo, & had Hysterectomy for clear cell ovarian cancer. Now I'm ongoing treatment with Avastin. As you know Avastin has one side effect that is high blood pressure, which I am experiencing. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life, but now must go on Amlodipine Besylate

How do people balance exercise and rest?
Hi everybody. I was diagnosed, unexpectedly, with severe heart failure approx. 6 weeks ago. I have started medications, Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Ranolazine and Aspirin. I am due an Angiogram on 8th March. As I am still waiting for my Angiogram things haven't really been explained

Controlled heart rate?
Hi, I finally managed to get a phone call with my Cardiologist who performed a successful CV back in October but I soon went back into Persistent Afib. Since then I have come off Bisoprolol ( breathlessness) and Verapamil ( possible adverse reaction), all in a previous post. The outcome from my call

Feeling more like my 'old self'
I was diagnosed with AFIB in October 2020 at the age of 79. Since then I have been on a learning curve about an ailment of which I had little prior knowledge. Health Unlocked with its daily mail bag of the trials and sufferings of fellow AFibbers has been a valuable source of information. During

Coming off drugs b4 ablation
I’m on amlodipine (Ca channel blocker) and metoprolol (beta blocker). Plus flecainide (Na channel blocker). All fairly low doses. I have to come off them before my fourth ablation for four days so not looking forward to that. Anyone experienced withdrawal symptoms doing same?
