Week one!
First week trying to eat a bit healthier and staying within recommended calories! I’ve been having my homemade tomato soup (lots made and in the freezer!!), and also as suggested last time I posted, I’ve been making my own ceaser chicken wraps instead of going to Costa! If I’m on a long day at work,

Losing Weight
Hello, I have been exercising (cross-arm mainly) about 30-40min 5-6 days a week for the last 2 months. I have lost only 100g of weight which is discouraging. My calories intake is not much, I am not a junk food lover. Not sure what is wrong.

Feel so low
Good morning Today I have woken feeling poorly and not well inside my body. It’s hard to explain. I have been following low carb for 3 weeks and although I had a loss first week 8lbs I have stayed the same the last 2 weeks. I do feel I have lost inches but just don’t feel healthy if that makes sense?

Meh week! 😑
I’m a day late as very busy yesterday to come on here. I did a quick weigh in though yesterday morning so wanted to still post it to try and keep me going. So last week wasn’t my best week but also wasn’t my worst. My motivation for not snacking has returned but my exercise motivation has struggled

Losing *TRIGGER WARNING*
I've been overweight all my life but in October 2018 to March 2019, I took a medication that out me in the actual obese range. I was taken off that medication because of it but the weight didn't come off. I was then put on a different mood stabilizer that had "weight loss affects". I was excited seeing

Indian carrot Achard
Inspired by todays poll about probiotics, here is a simple veg fermentation recepie wich is soooooo good. It's not from me but from a french cook named Marie-Claire Frédéric (here is her website, in french https://nicrunicuit.com/) For this recepie, you'll need vegetables and ... time! 1 kg of carrots

Well I HAD to!
Dear Everyone, Yesterday, whilst shopping, I saw an, absolutely Beautiful, piece of pre-cooked beef being 'sold off'. It was marked 'Best Before 4 January'....Sorry but it HAD to be mine! It is now, in my large cooking pot, converted to curry for myself and Mike- my neighbour. It's quite a 'hot' curry

Dreaming of summer with those Red lentils balls
Today I find it quite cold in Quebec! Finishing January and entering in Febuary wich is kind of a depressive month for me during our winters. This recepie came back to me as I was dreaming of summer. It's a turkish appetizer that you serve cold with lemons. They are easy to make and soooo tasty

Saw Rheumy at HSS - New York - Question for You?
Hi Folks, Saw really good rheumy and she had some good info and advice (as well as taking 8 vials of blood out of me. Talk about thorough...) She said as I taper that she was not in love with the idea of me hitting extra pain here and there with Advil (ibuprofen), and prefers that I use Tylenol (paracetemol

Panisse
Panisse is a meal made out of chickpea flour, it comes from the south of France. It got a really fine taste. Some people use it as an appetizer but I prefer using it to add some proteins in a salad. Italians have their polenta... french have their panisse. It's good... and it's very cheap to make.

Levothyroxine tablet formulation challenge
Whenever a particular levothyroxine tablet is mentioned, at least someone reports that they cannot tolerate it. Quite often a lot of people. Advice please
In the last 3 months I have had 56 days of oral/IV steroid treatment and also IM methylprednisolone 120mg and kenalog 80 mg. The kenalog will be running out over the next week - I had it 3 weeks ago. Every time steroids have been stopped I’ve had a rebound in my symptoms and have ended up in hospital

Hey wondering if anyone has any tips I'm really struggling to eat normal foods all I seem to do is eat junk food and deserts. I've put a lot of weight on in the past year and just feel so stuck and with no motivation whatsoever. Any advice would be good thanks in advance, looking for diet tips alternatives

Measuring your waist
This is for Hidden or for anyone else planning to track their progress by their waist measurement. I developed this entirely on my own, so please shoot it down. The principle here is not to find your absolute waist measurement, but to record a consistent number that you can compare week to week.

My food and exercise diary day two.
Tuesday! Usually a good day but I slept poorly and my daughter knocked my tablet, cracking the screen. Luckily it still works but put me in a bad mood. Didn't do my 15 mins morning aerobics. Will try to do 1km extra on my run later instead. 7am-8am breakfast was a cheese and onion toastie. My fave for

Reflexology
I got reflexology posters - hand reflexology and foot reflexology but does anyone know any other methods of improving health. Tips of finger or toe stimulates brain! Massage I suppose is good. There is sound and laser (acceptable wavelength / strength) to improve brain. Oils are supposed to be good
