What other meds can I try?
I’m currently taking Actemra and Otrexup both by injection once a week and have been doing so for about 2 years now. I have been having severe pain and extreme swelling in both of my knees for the past two months ever since I had to discontinue temporarily due to having a full right hip replacement as

Goodbye Benepali!
Well after 14 weeks, the last 8 being absolutely dreadful, finally got the news today that I'm being switched back to Enbrel 😀. It took a lot of pestering, a couple of hospitaI visits and a depo injection but finally got there. Rang my delivery company to make sure that they have the new prescription

Anyone else have no support or help at home?
Hi I’m new here. Have had RA for 20 years plus more if you count undiagnosed. Have tried Methatrexate, Sulph, Cimzia, Enbrel, too many steroid injections to remember. Now in Abatercept infusions and started Leflunomide 2 weeks ago. I feel like I have a permanent hangover and my joints are so sore. I

Anyone been refused switching back to Enbrel?
Has anyone been refused when they have asked to go back to Enbrel? Well, I've finally bitten the bullet and asked to go back to Enbrel injections. I've had 14 weeks on Benepali and have gone slowly downhill to the point where I'm worse than when I started Enbrel 14 years ago. I get very little relief

Benepali short lasting effectiveness?
Hi All, I've been on Benepali for 12 weeks now after 13 very successful years on Enbrel and am finding that it works well for 4-5 days post injection but then I have a rapid decline for 2 days before the next one is due. I didn't experience this with Enbrel, in fact I sometimes could stretch to 10-12

Enbrel injection rash days later
Hello, my name is Lisa and I am new to this site. I have had RA for about 8 years. I have been off of Enbrel (previously took it for 6 years with great results) due to health insurance not covering it. But, my doctor is fighting it, so I just started my Enbrel shot a few days ago. No issue, but woke

Benepali
I was on enbrel for a couple of years and was changed to benepali. It made feel really ill and I had all sorts of things. Skin went really dry, nails didn't grow, palpitations all sorts and was told it was the carrier within the drug that was making me weird. Was then put back on enbrel but it was a

Tips re Evorel patches
Hi all. I’m currently on a frozen embryo transfer and started on oestrogen patches on top of my buserelin. Anyone got any advice about the patches in terms of where to stick them to stop them falling off. Put one on yesterday and it was falling off today and had to change it. Thanks in advance.

Inflammation in the lungs ?
Hello everyone, I am just about recovered from the biggest flare up I have had since being diagnosed with RA seven years ago. My meds have not kept me as comfortable since having to stop Enbrel in 2016 through being diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that my Rheumatology doctor is going

Surprise
After receiving a letter about three weeks ago, telling me I’d be moved from enbrel to a biosimilar, I was surprised to get a telephone message on Tuesday asking me to contact my hospital. On calling them, in short, I was informed that due to money saved there was to be a biological consultancy service

Low White Count
I just got my latest blood work back and it is saying my absolute neutrophils are low. Google says that is a low white blood cell count. Glucose and ALT also a little high, and I’m not feeling well at all. My appt to discuss with the rheumatologist isn’t until next week, so I thought I’d ask here—-Could

Septic arthritis anyone?
Tis a rare beast I believe so I'm not expecting a huge response, but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's had this awful condition?...how your docs think it occurred, what meds are you taking now, etc.... I had it in my hip 3 years ago and was advised not to take enbrel again, which I was on
