My top tips for painless biologics pen injections!
Hi all! Just putting this all in one place as I've seen the question of how to alleviate the pain of injecting, Enbrel, Benepali, ect so many times here. Starting with the best tip 1st... 1) Inject straight after a shower or bath. I have had some pain if I miss this step, but all the steps done together

CLL & Biologics for Arthritis
I am curious if there is anyone in the CLL community who is using a biologic for their rheumatoid or Psoriatic arthritis ? I am on W&W and am dealing with some pretty serious arthritic pain in my knees. I am 11q del with nodes continuing to grow so treatment is around the corner sooner than later I suspect

Rheumatoid Arthritis or ?????
I have a question? I’m a 64 year old women. Can rheumatoid arthritis start in the shoulders and the hips? I was first diagnosed March 2017 with PMR and put on prednisone, until my left shoulder got really bad in August. I could hardly lift my arm. Rheumatologist sent me for MRI. There was synovitis

Is the menopause messing with your condition?
Hi all! I have AS and early menopause, I'm 50! I had a rough patch health-wise, and feel although one can never be totally sure whats causing a lapse in health, my instincts tell me it's the menopause messing with me and my meds. moods and levels of madness lol! I'm not on any treatment for the menopause

Biologics and secondary diseases
Does anyone know whether there has been any research into whether biological drugs actually result in bronchiectasis or Sjogrens syndrome. I developed Rheumatoid disease in 1986 and was treated with gold injections until 2007, I then started Enbrel and then developed both Bronchiectasis and Sjogrens.

Hi , I've been diagnosed with RA for about 6 years now, started with Metho and Enbrel, but currently just on Enbrel as we are trying to get pregnant. I'm wondering if anyone ever feels cold? Everyone I've asked says I feel normal but I am so cold sometimes I can't stand it. It actually hurts. The

It's all systems go!.....
Went for my immunology appointment this morning and very informative it was to. My rheumatologist referred me to see if I'm ok to start RA meds again, since stopping them some 20 months ago because of recurring infections. Apparently my immune system is looking pretty good as is the rest of my bloods

OK so I had my rhuemy appointment brought forward due to bad flare ups and just no relief from the pain of RA. My nurse has decided to try me out on biologics. I am currently on sulfasalaxine and hydroxychloroquine. Gonna add the biologic benapil. I have had blood test and chest xray. Awaiting results

Taking injections abroad
Hi. I'm currently on Enbrel injections that you mix yourself ( syringe & vial). We would like to go abroad but as they have to be kept cold ( in a fridge) I wondered if anyone else is on these and has been on holiday abroad. If so, how do you cope taking them e.g. hand luggage or hold. How do you manage

Changing from enbrel to erelzi thoughts
Hi everyone I’m just asking if anyone on enbrel has been told you need to change onto a new brand of injection called erelzi (I think) I’ve been told it works exactly the same as enbrel and that it will help cut costs on the nhs. What do you think? I’m a bit concerned about it as I’ve been on enbrel

Does anyone split Enbrel dose? Example 25mg twice weekly.
Hi all! After 4 years on Enbrel I've recently started to get a bad all day long headache(sometimes migraine)on the day after I inject the "My click" pen. I can only shift this headache with a Celebrex(my occasional big guns pain relief)Nothing else touches it. It's a once a week thing lately on the day

Is anyone taking Erelzi?
Hi, I have been on Enbrel for about 7 years and have recently been told I am being switched to an alternative called Erelzi. It is sitting in my fridge right now waiting until I have used my last two Enbrel. Had a delay because I have been suffering from the cold cough virus thingy going round, so no
