WHAT NEXT.
I have been on mtx, humira, super yin, enbrel and now I am going to betaken off Tocilizamub as it is having no effect on my rheumatoid disease. What. Can I expect next or more to the point is there much more that I canbeput on?

Second laparoscopy revealed chronic inflammation - not endometriosis!?
there have been some women my age (20) where chronic inflammation has been found, rather than endometriosis, although as I had my first laparoscopy at 17 and was diagnosed with endo and had it lasered at the time, I'm still shocked to know I've been given treatment - Zoladex injections, mirena coil,

So scared of this uncontrolled pain and more to come from dental treatment on 9th, before I can start Enbrel hopefully soon.
I am really sorry folks but my sense of humour and support is not good just now so please excuse me. I feel so bad my interest in almost everything is going. I had an awful time at the bone scan yesterday with my knees and legs being forced apart and over a plastic triangle for trying to get a better

Crunch Time!!
Well it's crunch time for me on Thursday as it will 12 weeks since I started enbrel. I can honestly say that whilst I have had some benefits it's been hit and miss and I still have bad days where I can't get out of bed.. It's mainly my wrists and fingers at the moment so it will be interesting to see

Life back with enbrel
My grand-daughter aged 11 was diagnosed with Juvenile RA her life was sport. Six months after diagnosis she sometimes only got one day a week in school being just able to walk. She is now l3 and has gone through the steroid injections, methatrexate which didnt help and has now been on enbrel

Going to be a difficult next couple of weeks.
I wish this freezing UK weather would b***** off. I have gone downhill so much and if I try go out I am in agony for ages and take two days to come round. The all over relief of my steroid injection I had six weeks ago worn off apart from to the knee itself whichnis ok. Well at least I got one half

Response to Sue about severe headaches
I'm sorry you're struggling so much with terrible headaches. Some causes of severe headaches never show up on any tests or scans, even the newer brain perfusion MRI's. It's discouraging not to be believed or told that "everyone gets headaches" when you know yours are abnormally BAD. Was your neurologist

My Behcet's headaches - "Atypical migraines"
I don't know about the availability of perfusion MRI's at the Behcet's Centres of Excellence, but it might be helpful to print out the full color version of the article I gave a link to and discuss it with your neurologist. It's common for Behcet's patients to have "normal" MRI brain scans when evidence

Enbrel, Humira and latex? Allergy the same as Elastoplast? Is latex in the solutions of Enbrel and Humira or just the needle covers?
Quick as I can as I just lost my previously typed question when my iPad conked out of power! I have only just read towards the end of my research that Enbrel and Humira contain latex in the needle cover (how is the clicpen affected?) Really disappointed if it is actually in the solution? ... as

Becoming informed about Behcet's
I wanted to point out to Xandi that I spent 10 DAYS (not years) as a hospital inpatient in NIH's Behcet's Natural History Study (Washington D.C. / Bethesda) where I was evaluated by a team of doctors and tested almost to death. It was fascinating and of course, I was confirmed as having complete Behcet's

Two ex-rays and the go ahead with Etanercept (Enbrel) .......
Hi all, I had my appointment with Clinical Nurse this morning at 9.30 ( me, in a car at 8.30 in the morning, that was a feat in its-self !) My das 28 score was 6.2 this morning and with my last one being 6.1 I've past that part of the criterior. All my blood results are clear, which is good to know

Follow-up discussion regarding 2013 research article about diagnosing Behcet's using a point system
I'm always pleased to see further refinement of the diagnosis classification systems for Behcet's. It's particularly important to have robust definitions in order to identify who should be included in wider research studies (such as the ongoing Behcet's studies at NIH and around the world). However

choice
IF an infusion was offered for ra injectable enbrel, cimza or humira, which would you chose and why? I Value advice and opinions on this one. Thanks particularly concerned about side effects and effectiveness, I have discounted infusion at this stage as it will interfer with trying to work Thank
