Truxima infusions/Rituximab
Following some other posts I have seen, has anyone had Truxima infusions and done well? I seem to have trodden a similar path to some of you other good folk, ie done quite well with Enbrel for a few years, then swapped to Benepali which finished me off so Enbrel never worked again. 2.5 years down the

Question about increasing tocilizumab (Actemra) dose schedule
Hi, I've had RA 8 years and failed my first biologic, Enbrel. I went on Actemra and had great results. I feel good, but my VETRA test (US based) and now my ultra-sound results for my wrists show severe disease activity. So, it feels like I'm in remission, but I'm not. I moved to the UK 8 months ago after

Anyone on Enbrel and have also stopped MTX?
I have recently switched from Humira to Enbrel and I heard somewhere that sometimes you can stop taking MTX when you take Enbrel and it won’t affect you adversely. Does anyone have experience with stopping the MTX after starting Enbrel? I’ve been diagnosed with PsA. Also I weaned myself off the Prednisone

Enbrel
Hi there, I am about to inject Enbrel tomorrow morning and I wonder if there is anyone who can tell me how this drug has helped their RA. I am a little anxious after reading the possible side effects. Thanks Di

Experiences of TMJ ?
I'm being passed from Doctors to Dentists at the moment. The Docs are saying I have an infection in a tooth because of pain around left jaw and blood work. The Dentists are saying there is no infection, I have Temporalmandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome. While they are arguing about it, I keep having

Changing from methotrexate and prednisone to methotrexate and hydrochloroquine - is this a positive change?
I was diagnosed with aggressive RA in February 2019, placed on prednisone, tapered to 5 mg while awaiting second opinion. First doctor wanted me on methotrexate plus Enbrel, insurance plan approved. Second opinion said start on methotrexate, wait on Enbrel. Started 15 mg oral methotrexate in April

Recurring cellulitis whilst on benapali.
Has anyone on this forum had recurring cellulitis whilst having weekly benapali injections? I have had medium to severe R A for 30 years and have been on enterecept for 6/7. Initially on enbrel which gave me back a quality of life I thought I'd lost. Since switching to benapali about 18 months ago I've

Upper Abdomen Pain continues
Two months on and still suffering with this stomach pain. Gastroscopy showed everything to be normal, now waiting for a CT scan. In other news I’ve finally been switched from enbrel after 16 years to Benepali. Second injection today, feeling slightly apprehensive 😬 .

FET cycle with cetrotide
They have advised me to use cetrotide instead and to start on day 1 of my cycle, and I will also use
evorel
patches then progesterone pessaries and injection and enoxaparin later on. My clinic mentioned they usually use buserelin for FET and now I'm worried about using cetrotide.

What is the next course of treatment if NONE of the RA medications work?
Anyone know what happens if after many many attempts of different RA medications such as Methotrexate, Humira, Enbrel, Xelzanze, infusions such as Acterma and Remicade do NOT work on me to combat endless inflammation & endless flares? I cannot stay on high does of Prednisone forever. That crap is already

A drug may prevent Alzheimer’s but there are no plans to find out

Flare on Actemra
I’ve had monthly Actemra infusions since December and added leflunomide in February for primary diagnosis of PMR, secondary RA due to positive CCP test. (I was misdiagnosed as RA only for 2 years, finally figured out a year ago, so a 3 year journey thus far. Enbrel, Humira and Orencia were all ineffective

Travelling with biologics
I'm going travelling in Europe for 3 months this summer and won't have daily access to a fridge. I need a 12v chiller that I can run in the car for my biologics (I take Enbrel twice weekly) but can only find a tiny one that would only hold enough for a couple of weeks or something that will be too big

Ring Any Bells?
I had a really good day on Tuesday. Felt the best I've felt in 12 months. Spent most of the say trying to figure out why: Did I take my painkillers before or after my turmeric? What did/didn't I eat? Was it an immediate effect from Enbrel on Sunday? What time did I take my amytriptilene. Is last

Upper Abdomen Pain
Hi, I’ve had this pain for 5/6 months now, I’ve had an ultrasound which was fine and just had results back from a heliobactor test and was normal. I’m now waiting to see a gastroenterologist in June. I’ve been injecting enbrel now for 16 years and it came to me 💡 could it be something to do with this

Enbrel delivery - half of usual amount
Well, half a loaf is better than no bread, but I was a bit taken aback today when Healthcare at Home (HaH) only delivered 4 injector pens, rather than the usual 8. Nothing to worry about really, as my son currently has a slight surplus, as he agreed to switch to Erelzi but although he felt the medicine
