To neuter, or not to neuter? That is the question. 😀

Testosterone and PSA drop and sore nipples
Prostatectomy Gleason 8, Lupron, and pelvic radiation. I am now off of Lupron and testosterone went up to 341 with a PSA of 0.014. Three months later the PSA rose to 0.025. I developed nipple soreness and started on tamoxifen. On my last test, the PSA dropped to 0.014 and the testosterone had dropped

Go for it!
I’ve been taking it for almost 8 months, best side effects is low testosterone and PSA! Are there others? Probably but is it Xtandi or any one of the other meds I take to fight this disease. Your life changes when fighting disease and it’s about winning while feeling the best you can mentally and physically

Help for Husband
Yesterday we got good news about Jim's monthly PSA as it is continuing to trend down. As we were talking, he was expressing about how his libido is gone and "nothing works", and a couple other things. I said that's what the castration process does. We'd already talked about these side effects..

Aging is Delayed in Castrated Males
https://elifesciences.org/articles/64932 The gist is that castrated males outlive both sexes. I would say this seems possible to me. Actually castration is the removal of testicles, but the effect of that is reduced testosterone. So ADT is similar to castration in that way, reduction of testosterone

Starting round 2 this cycle
So we had a chemical 2 weeks ago and our follow up was this past Wednesday. Dr asked when we wanted to go again and I asked if day 19 down reg of this cycle is possible and we were told yes 🥳🥳. Not much is changing on the protocol front as I responded as she would have expected. We’re adding testosterone

Is Bicalutamide the right treatment and when is a PET Scan required
I am a 64-year-old retired Army man living at Delhi in India diagnosed purely by chance…was taking meds for Rheumatoid Arthritis and the doc suggested getting an ultra sound to see if my liver was okay. It was but also showed a mildly enlarged prostate, so got a PSA test for the first time

HRT vs Levo
New to forum and have had Hashimoto diagnosed. GP prescribed 50mg of Levo. Already have Mirena coil and taking 1mg of Estradiol HRT. Is there any conflict between taking HRT and Levothyroxine. Appreciate knowing if they're compatible or not. GP has suggested not but meno(?), HRT and Thyroid and

testosterone-PSA association question
Very strange to have by testosterone almost double as I aged between age 45 to age 55. See my history. Has anyone noticed their testosterone and PSA increase as they age? I believe there may be a relationship between my testosterone increasing and my PSA levels. Any recommendation towards pursuing,

Enzalutamide to reduce urination issues?
