My journey with PCa
My journey started with yearly PSA test. 4.3 to 3.9 up to 4.5 at the end of 2019. At that point my urologist thought he felt something so did 6 biopsies. 3 of the biopsies contained cancer ( Gleason 7 4+3). I elected to have robotic radical prostatectomy at the end of March 2020. My prostate, semilvascial

ADT with Orgovyx
My PSA went up to 40 and Doc put me on Casodex, PSA came down to 24. Two months later (still on Casodex) Psa went up to 56. Doc wants me on Orgovyx. Orgovyx has a list of side effects that seem worse than Lupron. DEATH by heart attack /stroke are disturbing. Orgovyx has ALL the other Lupron side effects

Adrenal Cortex and DHEA Supplementation Advice?
Hi. I'm a 21 year old male and I have hypothyroidism, moderately low saliva cortisol in the am and afternoon, and EXTREMELY low morning saliva and morning serum DHEA. I'm a mechanical engineer so as you'd expect I'm in the same boat as all of you trying to figure this out myself. Labs: Serum DHEA-S

Welcome Back Mr. T
Despite having my prostate removed in July 2019, my testosterone remained at a health 409. In Dec. of 2019 I began a series of 3 month Lupron injections that ended after a year. The entire time I was receiving the injections my testosterone level remained at 6. My first level 3 months after Lupron

Embryo batch freezing (antagonist protocol)
Hey lovelies, I just finished a 3-cycle back-to-back embryo batch freezing and wanted to share my journey with you, with the hope that this would be useful for others going through it right now or thinking of in the future.
Background:
I’m 32 and have low antral follicle counts (10) and AMH (11

Advice on testing HRT
Hello, I need to test my progesterone/estradiol levels, do I need to take my usual dosage regularly on the night/ morning of the test? I am on HRT 200 Utrogestan and 1mg Sandrena gel. ( I take the progesterone before bed and put the estradiol gel in the morning). Thank you.🙂

What now? Do I need to change anything?
Hi everyone, I have just been diagnosed with PCOS today! 🙋🏼♀️ I only found out as I came off the pill in lockdown and have only had 3 periods since August. They found I have high levels of testosterone and PCOS explains other symptoms such as excess hair and acne. My doctor said I should go back

Do you think it’s likely I have PCOS?
I had my first child at 18 which was conceived quite quickly, after about 3 months after I had given birth I started to put on weight as I become depressed and started to over eat, I went from 8 stone 12 to 11 stone 10. I then started to notice I was getting facial hair and sideburns which I hadn’t have

How to bring down high fsh level, considering the estradiol is not an option!
I never had this high fsh!! Last month I supposed to start my ivf cycle, so we primed with estradiol. On day two of US my ovaries were asleep, 1-2 follicles in total. Obviously my fsh was really low 5.6 due to priming. I told my doctor that I think estradiol actually is not a good option for me since

Is it true that Testosterone is not the culprit causing Advance Prostate Cancer, Estragon is?
Hello Friends, I came across an article by Dr. Ray Schilling (https://www.askdrray.com/whats-new-about-testosterone/) that claims Testosterone is not the culprit causing Advance Prostate Cancer, Estragon is. He also claims that ADT is an outdated therapy. Is Dr. Schilling right? Why other Oncologists

Oestradiol too high for EC?
My oestradiol reached 22,000 on day 10 of stims. I’m coasting and have been off my FSH stims for 2 days. It’s fallen to 19,000 but still too high to consider triggering. Dr mentioned today that we might have to cancel if it doesn’t fall due to OHSS risk. Has anyone had any similar experiences? It’s

What aspects of CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) in my blood should I be most concerned ?
Hello fellow warriors! I had a blood draw today and have some comments and questions. Comment - I am the one to suggest every blood draw to monitor PSA, Testosterone , and other “numbers” that are reported from CMP results. I believe if I did not do this , I would never be asked about this . Is this

Bone scans can lie!
I had 3 bone scans in the last 18-months, the last one in May 2021, all negative. Then I had a PSMA scan on 2nd June, due to my rising PSMA, which went from < 0.1 when I stopped ADT to 3.2. It showed - "Bones: There are three or less osseous metastases (Oligo). -1.3 x 0.8 cm lesion with central lucency

Testosterone & Covid-19
New study below [1] [2] When the pandemic began, it was quickly noted that a disproportionate number of men were dying from it. Made sense, since women mount a stronger immune response than me with high-normal testosterone [T]. And then the Italian study came out in May (2020) [3]: "Our data suggest

Discussion about self-prescribed lab results
On 4/14/21 they collected samples for Testosterone Serum <3 (264-916), Free
Testosterone
(direct) = .3 (6.6-18.1), DHEA-Sulfate = 24.2 (30.9-295.6),
Estradiol
= <5.0 (7.6-42.6). All are LOW. LabCorp normal range is in parentheses. 2. On 4/14/21 PSA was 72.6 from Labcorp.
