Starting round 2 this cycle

So we had a chemical 2 weeks ago and our follow up was this past Wednesday. Dr asked when we wanted to go again and I asked if day 19 down reg of this cycle is possible and we were told yes 🥳🥳. Not much is changing on the protocol front as I responded as she would have expected. We’re adding testosterone on day 15 and adding in an extra trigger shot. Dr said we should be able to achieve a proper pregnancy within 3 rounds so that is what we are giving ourselves even though we can’t afford it 😔 🤞🏼🤞🏼 That this round works. I will continue to weight train and do cardio until the buserelin kicks my ass and makes cardio impossible for me. Food wise I will continue to eat well but also enjoy some treats, this journey is too hard without any chocolate or ice cream added in. I’m enjoying my last 10 days of not feeling like hell 🎉🎉

Hi JudithSS. So sorry you have been having a tough time. I think that your specialist is just trying to fine tune your cycle to suit you better. You could mention taking low dose soluble aspiring and/or heparin to encourage good blood flow to your womb lining and prevent clot formation. Pineapple core is suppsed to have a similar effect too. Try not to overdo the exercise, so tht you don't upset your hormones. Good luck! Diane

Really sorry about your chemical pregnancy Judith. That must have been just so upsetting. I hope you're starting to heal a bit... Glad you're getting straight back in there though, and wishing you so much luck xx

Thank you Aurora, it certainly was. We’re just ploughing through and hopefully this round will work. Counselling next week to talk through it all and hopefully prepare us xx
