Ovarian cysts and heavy bleeding
Hello, I'm 45 and my problems began back in April when I started getting prolonged, very heavy periods (4-6 weeks, made me anaemic). Up till then my periods had been more or less normal. I was referred to a gynaecologist in June, I saw her in August and she did a womb biopsy which came back normal. In

Is this endo?
I was diagnosed with endo back in 2003. I was on Norethisterone for a couple of years and then the Mirena Coil. This was removed in 2008. Since then no periods or bleeding. Previous history includes 3 lots of dermoid cysts removed by Laparotomy, 1 etopic, gall bladder and appendix out. I have been having

Uterine Polyps??
I was diagnosed in 2011 with endo and I have been on depo for years . Recently added norethisterone. Heavy bleeding/flooding is getting unmanageable now, as I'm a mixed vet so have to go on farm and as you can imagine flooding when in the middle of performing surgery is not the greatest either! Norethisterone advice please.
Hi, I'm off on holiday tomorrow for 8 days. Half way into it I'm due on period. As you probably all know our periods are ridiculously painful and so I really don't fancy just spending my holiday in a hotel room. The GP has given me Norethisterone to take but after reading about it, it seems that after

So much pain 😢
I can't cope with this pain! Been awake for hours. I have taken paracetamol and tramadol, am currently folded around a hot water bottle and have listened to my relaxation app (which ALWAYS helps me sleep-but not today!!) My gp put me on norethisterone but said i have to have a break every 10-15 days.

Good endo - still gobsmacked
I've just got back from my first appointment with the endocrinologist and am still a little shocked about his extremely helpful and co-operative attitude. He listened to everything, made lots of notes, examined me and has now ordered a raft of tests, including TSH, FT4, cortisol, U&Es, Vitamin D, prolactin

Anyone help with Ranges for sex hormone blood test in Coventry?
I had the results of my sex hormone tests. The ranges for progesterone and oestradiol are missing. The GP did not know them neither did the receptionist. I rang the lab and they would not give them to me ( matter of national security it seems! ) Does anyone know the ranges for the Coventry hospital

B12, hormones and the menopause
Really looking for experience of others and probably not just the menopause On 27th August my last period started - it still hadn't stopped ... in fact it still hadn't really happened by 8th September meaning that I usually have one light day, one-two heavy days and then some spotting ... where as I'd

Is there ever any end to it? At my last visit to the gynaecologist he told me they need a diagnosis so they can determine treatment and sent me away with tranexamic acid (which makes me ill) I told him I was fed up of just having painkillers chucked at me all the time and want it sorted!! I HAVE a diagnosis

Negative results but no bleed...?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?... Embryos (2) transferred on the 1st August and two weeks later a BFN. No withdrawal bleed occurred over the following week and within that week 3 negative results. Called the clinic on the 8th day and they asked me to test again - still negative.

Hello, everyone. I really hope you might be able to help, I would be very grateful. I am a 42 year old female, and went to the doctor a few weeks ago because I'm struggling with exhaustion, sleeping all the time, or sometimes waking up multiple times a night over-heating or cold, irritability, mood

Endometriosis, Norethisterone and so many Tablets!
I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis after my first laparoscopy at the age of 18 as I had been suffering with pain for about a year. Before surgery I have been put on multiple different pills each one not working for me, either bleeding constantly, making me violently sick or severe abdominal
