Propolis - CAPE
Another post prompted by Attitude67 & Charmander. Propolis is a resin that bees use to seal gaps in the hive. It may have antibacterial & antifungal properties. Supplements are widely available, but one should be aware that PCa studies have focussed on CAPE (Caffeic Acid Phenethyl Ester). Some propolis

😢 fed up & need advice 😢
Hi Ladies, I had my second lap in August last year & the consultant suggested a coil to help with pain. I was fine until January, I saw my consultant for a follow up & because I had been having a lot of spotting he suggested taking Norethisterone, after five days of taking it I had a lot of pain

Surgical menopause
Hi all, I know I've been posting on here a lot just lately but recovering at home alone, its just good to talk to other ladies. So I'm now getting used to being in surgical menopause, the hot flushes are nowhere near as bad as they were on prostap but I'm getting myself all stressed and worried about

Norethisterone
Looks like I may be changing from two Cerelles (POP) a day to Norethisterone (while on the waiting list for surgery). What are you experiences? I just read that it can be sued to treat "the symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome which occur before a period including breast pain, headache, migraine, water

Almost there
So so so! After overstimulating last week and ending up with 32 follicles and a close wave to my cycle being terminated or at least delayed weeks and moving from fresh to frozen. A last minute miracle happened and my oestradiol was back in order. Monday I had my egg collection, still being taunted by

Trouble with periods again
I posted earlier in the year with problems with being on a period constantly for 8 weeks, was under the hospital and they found a large fibroid but said that wasn't the problem, the lining of my womb was thick. Also had a camera check my womb which they said was healthy. Was given Norethisterone tablets

Urgent referral for ultra sound and to see a gynecologist
For the last 2 months I've had constant pelvic pain, normal I get pain for a few weeks and then it's gone for another couple of weeks, but this time it's getting worse and making me feel sick too. Over a year ago I had the Mirena coil fitted and I'm happy that it's virtually stopped my bleeding but

Endometriosis and thickened endometrium
Had my hysteroscopy this morning and no mass thank god, just full of blood. The doctor did say the endometrial lining is quite thickened and friable and so has taken some more biopsies. I thought it might be due to the progesterone I am on (depo-provera and norethisterone tablets) but it seems oestrogen
