Bleeding for 26 days, taking Tranexamic Acid and Norethisterpne 1 x 3 day of each.
I’ve been bleeding for nearly a month. My period started and never stopped. Had to go to A & E twice, they prescribed me Norethisterone for 10 days, but bleeding didn’t stop, went again to AE and they’ve added Tranexamic Acid. I’ve had slight improvement for 2-3 days after taking these pills for 2 days

Norethisterone Tablets, pain
I’ve been prescribed Norethisterone to control heavy periods but since being on them my lower abdomen feels heavy like there’s pressure. Has anyone else experienced this?

Norethisterone for 5 days
Hello, My bleed from my egg retrieval started 8 weeks ago and I haven't had a natural period since. Today I was prescribed Norethisterone for 5 days to induce my period, then I can request frozen embryo transfer once that happens. Has anyone else done this before? How was it? Hope to hear from someone

Cycle buddies?
Hello, I've just started Norethisterone today to start our very last ever cycle and was wondering if anyone else is starting a cycle and wants to share the ups and downs. I'm on a short flare cycle so will be starting injections in 2 weeks and depending on how I respond egg collection will be around

Spotting with Norethisterone
Hi all! Has anyone experienced spotting whilst taking Norethisterone during the first phase of IVF? I just found the lightest bit of spotting, I’m on day 6 of taking Norethisterone and will be stopping on the 26th so am not expecting a period until after that. I think the spotting is probably just

Typical frozen transfer timeline
I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of rough timeline I might be working with for my frozen transfer. I was on Norethisterone for two weeks and am due to hopefully have my day 1-3 scan this coming week. Does anyone know how far out I might be from my next transfer if all goes to plan? I’m also

Weight gain on Norethisterone and Syranel/Nafarelin
Just wondering whether anyone had noticed that these drugs made you pack on the lbs? I’m really battling to get my weight down at the moment and normally don’t have a problem. I’ve exercised 6 times this week and have reduced calories too but my weight is climbing and I’m not sure why other than maybe

Experiences of Norethisterone before cycle
Hey everyone. Hope you are well and getting through what seems like the longest coldest Jan ever! 10 day course of norethisterone prescribed to time start of my next cycle. I am due on my period today (if I had not been on norethisterone). My last day of taking it is tomorrow. I have been feeling so

Some advice on new lab results please
I am a 40 year old woman and have been feeling very weird lately. I was wondering if I entered perimenopause so I had a blood draw on 21st day of my cycle. I think my progesterone is low? estradiol: 110 ng/L progesteron: 9.13 microgram/L LH: 11.7 U/L FSH: 7.9 U/L (I am not on HRT)

Cycle cancelled - poor response to stims
Hi Day 11 scan showed by 3 follicles still very small despite maximum Pergoveris dose (11,9, 7) so we cancelled the cycle. I have a review with the consultant next month before trying again. Any advice re what I should be asking in this review? So far they have suggested to go on 450 from the beginning

Estradiol level before frozen transfer
Hi there My estradiol level before starting poi today is 1000. Is it too high for a frozen transfer? I’ve read somewhere that more than 500 would negatively affect implantation. My doctor isn’t concerned about it but I need some reassurance please 🙏🏻

Constipation is a known issue with the Orgovyx
I've been on Orgovyx (Relugolix) for around 2.5 years now. and find myself getting increasingly constipated. It's the most tenacious SE. My labs are all stable and my PSA is stable at <0.02. But I'm now on 4 types of laxatives and next am planning on getting an enema and trying that. I have an appt with

Could I be harming my heart & vascular system with my consistently high BP, despite being on lots of cardiac and BP meds?
Despite being on the following list of meds I'm still getting BP spikes, with my weekly average being in the high 140's/80's and I'm getting angina, with related symptoms, weekly (although less intense since being on isosorbide mononitrate). I've been taking my BP for almost a year now and so I know

Location of Estrogen Patches matters.
These plots compare applying estrogen patches to a forearm or to the scrotum. Overall, the average serum estradiol concentration is
3-4 times
higher for scrotal application, compared to forearm application. This is particularly relevant to estrogen users who use gel, cream, or spray products

How to convince a GP to prescribe estradiol patches?
I've been busy with ADT for almost 5 years and one of the most insidious SE has always been hot flushes. I find them quite debilitating as, when they hit (and that's often), I'm briefly incapable to concentrate/perform any task. After reading about some of you guys experiences with estradiol patches
