Fish oil vs Gout - New Here
I think I am suffering from GOUT. I am a regular (daily) user of fish oil. Could this be a contributor to gout??

Hi all, first time in here but wanted some advice. I've gained around 2 stone since last summer and my stomach is constantly bloated. I never used to carry any weight on my stomach and now its bloated at the top and bottom all of the time which has been the case for around 8 months. It's really painful

Road to R-E-C-O-V-E-R-Y!!
So I was diagnosed with Lupus about 2 yrs ago. No symptoms, was feeling fine up until i got a weird rash on my left quad when I was out hiking one afternoon. I was told I had high inflammation. So instead of researching what was wrong with me, I subjected to trying this medication called Hydroxychlorine

Small fibre sensory neuropathy
I am 100% sure this is what my problem is. Saw neurologist nearly two years ago because at that time it was tingling strange sensation in feet and calves, but nothing too painful. All he did was some blood tests and then sent me away - no follow up appointment. At the end of last year I asked GP to

Endometriosis?
Hi all I'm new here and feel a bit daft posting because I haven't actually got an endometriosis diagnosis. I just want to know what people on here think about my symptoms, as a doctor has suggested that I might have endometriosis and it's never something I've really considered because my periods are

Question Time.....Again (Sorry) T4, Myxedema and the rest!
Hello wonderful people of HU, I am sorry to yet again be posting another search for info, I hope one day to be a contributor but alas, I am still feeling very unwell. I've tried to speak to my doctor about all this and the line is usually - eat less/exercise more as its all down to my recent weight

Still having diarrhea 1 month after laparoscopy...
So it's been now over a month since my laparoscopy, almost 6 weeks actually. I had occasional bouts of diarrhea like maybe once in a month or less before the surgery, and bowel endo was suspected. There was nothing on an MRI though and nothing found on the bowel during my laparoscopy. There was endo

Endometriosis diet change
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to post about Endometriosis and diet just to share with you how it has been helping me over the last 10 months. If by reading this it helps anyone else then that is just great. I am constantly reading about what things I can do to help control side effects of Endometriosis,

Keratosis Pilaris getting worse
Hi, I've always suffered from Keratosis Pilaris on the tops of my arms and thighs which hasn't particularly bothered me much, but now aged 26, it's suddenly gotten much worse. My entire legs are covered in ugly red spots which have now spread to the backs of my thighs and even my bottom! Rather embarrassing

Hashi's & Adrenals - supplement help
Many of you regs know how poorly I have been for the last 8 months to the point of feeling suicidal (and still am). My private Endo (after tests) just put everything down to the fact that I am stressed and if I reduce that, my T3 will go up, my cortisol levels will drop and I will be hunky dory again

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Vitamin A (Retinol, Retinoic Acid [RA], Beta Carotene)
This is the first in a series of reviews of the PCa literature for foods & supplements. When I began looking at studies 12 years ago, I started with vitamin A, which I quickly discovered is not an easy topic. It goes on a bit, so for those who want the bottom line: do not supplement with vitamin A (

TENS/EMS therapy for atrophied muscles
Mind you, I'm looking at everything Ayurvedic, Chinese medicine,

. I'll be on crystal healing before too long. I'll see if I can find a sports scientist on Reddit and get some half-way professional advice.

AN UPDATE ON MY GCA REDUCTION JOURNEY & NO RETURN OF MPS
2 weeks ago I reduced to 7.5 mg and, to date, haven’t experienced any withdrawal symptoms or side effects., so may well venture down to 7 this weekend. I’ve been taking 2.5 ng at midnight (we retire late) and 5 mg at 9 am. I’ve been splitting in this ratio for a couple of months and it’s worked
