Glue ear leaking
Hi,I have glue ear in my left ear, for quite a while it has been oozing a thick fluid, I have had 2 courses of antibiotics over the past 6 or 7 months, it clears up but comes back. It has started again now, I have no pain and feel fine, my hearing is much better to, is this actually an infection or

”….it is unlikely that PMR will be diagnosed”
It specifically refers to blood
test
results where
ESR
& CRP are ‘normal’. My GP and physiotherapist say my symptoms mirror PMR which isn’t supported in my bloods test. I’m confused and uncertain how to proceed. Do I seek further tests? Do I request referral to a specialist in Rheumatology?

FET Adeno endo and long vs ultra long protocol/down reg
Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has had success with endo adeno and a long protocol of 1 month of prostap prior to fet. I'm wondering if I need ultra long down reg or maybe at least doing 2 months. My clinic said evidence suggests not much different in outcomes but read so much about doing longer protocol

Vertigo or dizziness?
Just reducing from 6.5mg Pred to 6mg. All seems well but yesterday evening, as I was sitting and reading a book, I started to feel 'out of it' so to speak. A bit dizzy and as though I needed to take a large breath as I had forgotten to breathe. This morning I felt dizzy when I got up in that I wanted

Roflumilast/Daxas
Dear all, I just wanted to let all of you with severe COPD that I was given the opportunity last year, March 2022 to start this medication, Roflimilast. I had to request the outpatient appointment to be able to bring the possibility of being prescribed it. HealthUnlocked It wasn’t even mentioned to me

Endometriosis diet plan
Hello everyone, hope you all doing well. I had prostap injection on 4 December and I am taking Tiblone with it. My bleeding stopped after two weeks and now again I have bleeding. I feel disappointed and I want to try endo diet and stop taking any medication. Please does anyone tried this way? Does anyone

b12 purchase
Hi I was treated by GP for low B12 for a year but once my levels were midway on “normal range” the injections were discontinued and I struggle to find ways to boost my intake orally. I have just purchased Hydroxocobalamin online but am unsure if the dosage is similar to that I was previously prescribed

How long have you taken prostap?
I’m wondering how long people have taken prostap? I’ve been on it for 4 years now (I was 36 when i went into chemical menopause) and so far so good. I’m lucky enough to have no real side effects from it. I’m on it because due to a complicated medical history and I’m due to stay in it until I Go in

Anxiety and Tinnitus
HiSo I came off HRT because it increased my tinnitus it's been over 6 weeks now and over the past week I've now developed morning anxiety which is a peri-menopause symptom and obviously increasing my tinnitus awareness, I work from home and have started going in to the office a few days a week to break

Terrible nausea & feeling unwell
I'm reluctant to go to A & E for a blood
test
to confirm rising
ESR
, CRP etc. as last time the wait was so long I felt worse at home for several weeks afterwards.

Head tingling face, legs, and arms
Hi, I am a newbie here, so hope you are all doing as well as can be expected. for the last 12 months I have had 24/7 head tingling in random parts of the head with weird sensations too, plus head pain and now headaches daily. Went to GP who sent me for an MRI and Neurologist who was absolutely useless

memory loss prostap hell
my life is a living hell at the min I have been on prostap injections now for 2 1/2 years. I was meant to be having a hysterectomy but because I have a complex medical history. They keep finding excuses not to do the surgery such as can’t have general anaesthetic because of XY and Z and I can’t

Dizziness / Vertigo whilst on Pred
I’ve been suffering with nausea and dizziness whilst on Pred, whilst this has been awful it’s not as bad as the PMR pain I was experiencing. My GP and an a nurse have suggested this could be to do with the inner ear. I do suffer from travel sickness and avoid roller coasters / waltzers because they

Overactive Bladder Syndrome
Bit strange to post this here but bear with me please. It seems that many of the med's for OAB have a side effect of high heart rate. I've been diagnosed with Paroxysmal Tachycardia and am trying Tolterodine for my OAB (which increased my comfort level considerably) but have had to stop as my monthly

Any help on my issue would be great
Years and years ago I was very very over weight hmm 26 stone .. I used to have a lot of issues with jar and ear pain, first the doctor thought it might be a dental problem so I had to get my teeth investigated and it wasn't so I was put on medication for nerve damage with some investigations via ENT

How to deal with Tinnitus?
Dear community, I'm rather new with Tinnitus suffering since the end of August, first in one year, now both ears and it is unbearable. I also got a feeling of Fullness and Blocked of the right ear but MRI and specialist consultant were not useful to find the cause just yet so trying to investigate

hi all, creeping up to 1 year since my TBI. I stayed in hosp for 4 days before being discharged but despite this my TBI was classed as ‘severe’. I am lucky in the sense of I seem to have recovered really well. I don’t have any symptoms anymore apart from the odd BPPV spell which I fix with the epley.
