Hi! I had some blood tests done last week (a brief history - I haven’t been 100% since I had Covid 14 months ago and been suffering with extreme tiredness and fatigue.. I was found to have iron deficiency anaemia and was successfully treated last year), it has shown I have low B12 (173 - range 197-771

Hi, extremely confused here, I have been seeing a neurology specialist for cluster headaches, my last appointment I mentioned that I'm mixing my words up and my RLS (restless leg syndrome is getting worse). He asked if I'd had my bloods done and who was overseeing care.. I am PA, B12 deficient, folate

what are optimal T3 and T4 levels?
Hello, i had my endocrinologist appt and she didn't seem particularly interested in my -low free T4 levels (several times they have been under range or at the very bottom of the range) -free T3 which last time it was checked was 3.89 in range 3.1-6.8 she has done more bloods, if they are the same

PMR Review with GP
Further to my previous two posts, I had my appointment with the GP today, which was interesting. No mention of fibro. Yay! Mind you, this was the same doc I saw right after diagnosis and the guy who sent me off next day to the hospital ophthalmologist to get my eyes checked out to make sure that I

Hyper symptom cause
I've done a lot of reading and learning on here over the last few months and so now got to the point of starting to asking questions to this very knowledge community. I have many signs & symptoms (and bloods) that indicate I'm hypo but one or two that seem to feel like how I was when I was very hyper

Inflammation and RLS
I have always believed that inflammation was part of my RLS. I believe this because my RLS responds well to ibuprofen. A recent blog was using this study http://www.smj.org.sg/sites/default/files/SMJ-57-514.pdf The study is from 2016. The study proposes to use the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio

Chronic pain , degenerative spinal disease
I am at the end of my tether with chronic pain and more recently, peripheral neuropathy. Every 8 weeks I have a B12 injection for management of Pernicious Anaemia diagnosed in 1985. However, the pains shooting into my toes and burning sensation around week 6, drives me crazy. The GP is nice but does

I’m back 😵💫 Mediocre news. been on 60mcg t3 for a while and while it works & have come back to life there are issues. Bloods showed slight hyper so dropped to 50. Genius Nhs refused to test free t3 & ran tests for t4 which of course I don’t have because I don’t have gland anymore (and as private

Urgent help please - feeling total despair - think I'm going crazy after stopping and restarting levothyroxine - blood results included
Hi, This won't be the full story as I don't want to to make the post too long and hard/annoying to read. It's already going to be too long. RAI for Graves around 11 years ago. Never felt good on T4 since. Normal dose around 100 micrograms plus around 12.5 micrograms a couple of times a week. Mostly stopped

Armour Thyroid for over 20 years
I have been taking Armour thyroid since 2000... Have had my current Dr for at least 20. Low Iron
Hi everyone, Wondered if anyone has had experience with SVT and low iron? I’ve just found out that I have extremely low iron stores which explains a lot of my symptoms, including a fast heart rate and wondering whether anyone knows whether it could cause atrial tachycardia? I am really hoping once

Hypothyroid Labs In The Pits
Long story short. My 6th Endocrinologist retired over a year ago when my labs were good. I'm back to seeing my GP for the past year for Thyroid and now my labs are in the pits. Drugs used for past 6 months: 125mcg Synthroid and 1.5 mcgs Liothyronine. (I will admit that I was using Synthroid every other

Updated labs, new doctor, but still a no on adjusting meds
I posted my labs back in December and contacted my doctor asking for an increase in levothyroxine to 100 instead of my current 75. I've talked with them twice about this, but they seem to think that since my TSH is in range that any med adjustments may make me have some heart issues. I recently changed
