Pain after an Endoscopy
I had an
endoscopy
two weeks ago mainly looking to see if I needed any banding. I was lucky as this was not required and would not need another
endoscopy
for 3 years.

I'm having problems with my stomach I'm getting an
endoscopy
in a month I'm feeling nauseous almost all the time and having problems going to the toilet. So very sensitive to meds at the moment.

Fibroscan numbers
The reason for the fibroscan, according to my internist, is because in an
endoscopy
done by a gastroenterologist in July, he ghpught he saw portal gastropathy, which is often, although not always caused bybportal hypertension and cirrhosis.

labs results that contraindicate one another
Had
endoscopy
and colonoscopy that showed only patchy erythema so GI doc said I’m normal but afterwards she learned about PCAB positive test and said she’d redo
endoscopy
because she might have missed something. What are your thoughts?

Recent fibroscan
I'm having an utrasound and
endoscopy
soon. During the fibroscan, I was told that my ribs were very close together. Could this affect the kPa score? Im not overweight and do not have diabetes. I do have coeliac disease.

Endoscopy
with biopsy still remains the gold standard for diagnosing rectal cancer. I wonder if anyone here has had a colon/rectal issue associated with radiation and how you dealt with it.

Physical symptoms and untreated ascites concerns
In 2022 he had an
endoscopy
that revealed portal hypertension gastropathy. He has lost a lot of weight in his neck, chest and arms and looks terrible gaunt, but in the last six months his stomach has ballooned with what I think is ascites--before that he had dropped 50 lbs.

Apixaban and Bleeding.
I had an
Endoscopy
with contrast. They could not find any reason for the bleeding so they had me stop the Apixaban. Gradually the bleeding from my bum stopped. They told me to stay off the Apixaban for 3 weeks and start taking them again. If the bleeding starts again to let them know.

video capsule
Good morning, I’ve got to have a video capsule
endoscopy
in a few weeks. I wanted to know if anyone has had this procedure done please??? I'm very anxious as I have diverticulitis as well as Crohn’s disease! I know it can get stuck and if can’t be dislodged they then have to do surgery.
