Colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Today I had both my colonoscopy and
endoscopy
, and I must say that having them was a lot less harrowing than I thought it would be. My appointment I was 8.30 am and I was home by 11 o’clock.

Advice pleaae
I’ve suffered with IBS for along time, several years ago I developed acid reflux, had an
Endoscopy
which confirmed some scarring, given medication which in most has helped. Fast forward 8/9 weeks ago I developed a barking cough for about 16/18 days.

Depressed because of my breathing issues. I don't know where to go from here...
I even got an
Endoscopy
done which found i had H. Pylori, GERD, and Gastritis. However, according to the Gastro doc, there should be no connection between my breathing issue and stomach issues.

Worried I have ulcerative colitis or something else.
I've got an
endoscopy
booked in for next week on Thursday, worried is an understatement! I was just wondering if anybody could shed some light on any of my symptoms. Any advice or comments would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Adrenal saliva test & DHEA
So at my last GP appt to review all my results, 21 months of blood tests* since the multinodular goitre was discovered in May 2021, the GP said I do not have primary thyroid and I need to let it go, he believes my symptoms are carers burnout. I raised secondary/central thyroid and we seemed to reach

Have I got IBS?
I’ve had a CT scan, colonoscopy and
endoscopy
all of which were clear ( CT scan picked up some scarring on my lungs, awaiting further tests regarding pulmonary fibrosis). Biopsies taken and awaiting results. I’m searching for answers as my GP won’t comment until biopsy results are back.

Compensated or Decompensated
I was diagnosed in May 2019 with Cirrhosis and my Hepatologist told me it was Compensated and I would be monitored in the liver clinic every 6 months (the pandemic put paid to that plan). I've subsequently had two endoscopies which show six varices, one of which shows some evidence of past bleeding.

Recently diagnosed Hypothyroid - feeling a lot better after 3 months, now on 125 mg of T4 only
I would have waited a year to get
endoscopy
scan and have to take gluten produces for many weeks, which I could not face. Tips Be kind to yourself - allow rest time. Let people around you know it messes you up and in time will hopefully improve. You are ill.
