Update on my unusual body!
I had an
endoscopy
and I am now on tablets for gastritis, so at least other things have been ruled out, including the big C in the area covered by the procedure.

Fibroscan
I got told in May that I would need a Liver Transplant in y2rs time after being hospitalised and nearly dying from a Gastrointestinal bleed. I am not a drinker and have had an unexplained liver condition for 35yrs. However I had a Fibroscan and it came back normal. Also my blood results are on

So I finally went to the GI doc
Due to my ongoing acid issues, she is also putting me on a trial of PPI for 2 months to see if it "heals" anything, and if after I stop taking it I continue to have issues, she will do
endoscopy
as well to check my esophagus.

Heart or non acid reflux?
I think it helped a bit - but was just a trial and am now waiting an
endoscopy
. my ecg monitor showed ventricular ectopics and tachycardia.

Surviving Esophageal Cancer: “I’ve kept my promise”
Prescription medication still didn’t help, and as I had never reported problems with heartburn or indigestion, he referred me for an
endoscopy
. I received confirmation of my appointment in August 2018 for 4 PM on Monday, October 8, 2018.

No, rare Whipple’s disease isn't the underlying cause of my functional bowel problems (FGID) and other, all over the body symptoms.
However he's willing to do some additional examinations/test but no upper
endoscopy
of my small bowel or pcr test. That's why I ordered a PCR test for Whipple’s disease myself. Just trying to exclude possibilities (isn't that what the physicians should do?).

Safe to fly ?
He has no bleeding , varices or acites his ecg is fine and
endoscopy
showed no signs of liver cancer . He has had odema in both legs 3 times since December which also turned to cellulitis each time . Thankfully he’s had quite a few weeks free.

Update
My mysterious bloating is evidently starting to concern my gastroenterologist, so I had a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
done about 3 weeks ago (no results yet), and I am due to have another MRI tomorrow morning.

Private FIT test recommendation
Hi, I'm still very much in that 'more questions than answers' phase regarding my health with a mix of thyroid, anaemia and perimenopause issues going on. Due to repeated low iron over many years, I'm thankful the NHS is now looking into the cause and I have a colonoscopy and gastroscopy arranged

Crohn’s Diagnosis ?
My
endoscopy
showed acid reflux but nothing else. Capsule
endoscopy
showed slight erosion in the duodenal part of the intestine. I have suffered from chronic headaches for years and have abused NSAIDS terribly.

Traveling on a plane with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension
He had a follow up
endoscopy
4 weeks later and the report said that he still had portal hypertension but no other complications on there. We are due to fly to Majorca on 29th July this year and I’m finding it really difficult to find out if he is allowed to fly or not.

Any body having problems with Pantoprazole?
Had to have an
endoscopy
last Friday because I have the feeling something always stuck at the back of my throat. Nothing found but the surgeon did proscribe me pantoprazole twice a day for a month 40mg per tablet. During the past week I feel like I have been hit by a bus!
